This will be quite possibly the worst side we’ll ever field…
You are probably righ but if they all come in and have an actual crack, you never know what could happen. I hope Sydney think that way and let their guard down just like Richmond did against us at Marvel in 2019.

This. It's where he played all of his junior footy. He's not a defender, even now, and the perception might be that it's too late. It's not. He has to play in the midfield, on the ball, all the time.

Clarko, if you or your staff read BF, please try this? What have you got to lose?

That way, any defensive clangers won't happen, and maybe a fwd 50 entry will be botched instead, and I'd argued that's less costly, and hey, maybe he'll kick a few goals? Again, what have you got to lose?

I must admit, I see a lot of upside in this too. LMac’s main “feature” these days seems to be his ability to kill the ball. I’d rather him doing that around the ground and stopping teams from getting their flow going. I could see him snagging a goal or two running into our F50.

I just can’t see Lmac as anything other than a defender. He’s not quick, not got great skills, nor is a tackling machine. He’s at his best when he’s stopping his direct opponent or taking intercept marks. I think the instruction needs to be to give off a hand pass to a runner or do a defensive chip kick given where his kicking and decision making is currently at.

Bringing Thomas back is not going to make the club look good at all.

What message does that send?
That the AFL and club ticked him off to be in the AFL program... which they have. IDK if it's semantics but I feel like the message has already been sent but some don't realise it.

Lmac bmac jz
Sheezel logue Thomas
Scott Cunnington shiels
Ford CCJ Stevenson
Wardlaw Larkey Philips
Goldie Jy Greenwood

Taylor, Bergman, Curtis, Powell, sub Howe

I think they are all fit?

I usually look forward to our games regardless of how we're travelling, but this weekend's injuries have completely sapped me. Complete kick in the gut in and of itself, but the context of LDU being robbed of his fitness AGAIN and the MRP ???? with Jonas on Zurharr makes it so much worse.

So he's Josh Walker but shorter?

I know we have 6 changes, but how many of our best 22 are actually missing this week?

LDU
Zurhaar
Comben
Corr (barely )

Nobody else missing is actually best 22 on form/ proven…. Don’t expect to win however there really is no excuse for getting belted.

Powell, Thomas, Wardlaw, Cunnington, Ford, Phillips….. all upgrades on Mahoney, Perez and Tucker in my opinion. Would also argue CCJ is an upgrade on Logue as a forward option.

A lot of height missing, but still a quality midfield.
Yep, Gulden in particular has gone beast mode last two games. Parker is a reliable performer. Warner looks amazing maybe one game out of three.

They got smashed at clearances by the dockers last weekend though.

Gulden is the biggest ducker/knee dropper/arm raiser in the league.

Absolute fraud of a footballer in the contest.
