This has to be ‘defining moment’ type of game for a number of players.
Don’t expect to get close to winning, but if the effort and application isn’t there then they should look elsewhere for a list spot next year.
This is some players last chance sequence of games, and other’s big chance.
I’m a little depressed that all I really want to see is what should be the norm, not even over and above.

Bringing Thomas back is not going to make the club look good at all.

What message does that send?
If you stuff up there are consequences but we wont throw you to the curb. You will have to prove yourself to the club, show that you have learnt from your mistakes and then work your way up through the 2's. And if you tick all the boxes and show us you are not only willing to, but have become a better person then we will accept you back into the team.

I wouldn't be against Warlaw playing up forward in Bull's place if he is out. Can mark and will be manic once the ball hits the ground. Give him a couple of CBA's for experience.

Out: Corr (susp), Tucker (inj), LDU (inj), Perez (inj), Zurhaar (inj), Mahony (inj), Spicer (sub)

In: CCJ, Powell, Phillips, Young, Ford & Wardlaw

Please god. no Turner, Howe or Hall…unless they are sub.

B: Mcdonald, McKay, Bergman
HB: Ziebell, Logue, Sheezel
C: Scott, Phillips, Shiels
HF: Stephenson, Larkey, Taylor
F: Curtis, CCJ, Ford
Foll: Goldy, Simpkin, Greenwood
Int: Powell, Young, Drury, Wardlaw
Sub: Lazz/Spicer/Hall/Howe
This team is OK. My change would be Shiels onball, Greenwood 2nd ruck, Young wing. Paul Curtis, Powell, Wardlaw to go onball during the day.
Let CCJ and Larkey work together as forwards and Greenwood replace Goldy (worked well early in the year giving us more speed around the ball.)

That list of injured players who aren’t available to come in is pretty sobering. I’d rather they didn’t rush Wardlaw in but they might not have much choice.
Same here - can't wait to see Wardlaw but hope he is ready if selected.

And he’s clearly done all that…lol

We need to put Lmac in the guts

Eddie comes in for Mahony. CCJ goes forward.

This. It's where he played all of his junior footy. He's not a defender, even now, and the perception might be that it's too late. It's not. He has to play in the midfield, on the ball, all the time.

Clarko, if you or your staff read BF, please try this? What have you got to lose?

That way, any defensive clangers won't happen, and maybe a fwd 50 entry will be botched instead, and I'd argued that's less costly, and hey, maybe he'll kick a few goals? Again, what have you got to lose?

Worried it’s a bit slow but would rather have our best and try and grind it out. Players who can’t kick shouldn’t be playing.

Young is out as well - "Lachie Young sustained a concussion last Thursday and will miss this weekend's game as well."
