Think we are pretty confident Craig McRae knows what he is doing.

If Billy is going to be on the best forward in the AFL (and Todd is) I'm betting that Craig McRae has a plan to try and make that work.
Wait, are you saying Todd is the best forward in the AFL? Look I love the guy as much as anyone but that is absolutely laughable at this stage of his career.

I'd be surprised if Boaky is fit and Finlayson would have to still be slightly unlikely. Will be interesting to see selection, I wouldn't be picking Pasini yet, give him a bit more time IMO.

Collingwood are a high pressure team, they move the ball quick and defend well. I was at the game Friday night and blown away at how many times Geelong got out the back on them, so they obviously have a very similar high press to us which will be tricky to break. I still don't truly believe they're as good as their W/L records suggests, but they keep winning so how can you deny them. Away from home, in front of a big Collingwood crowd this will be a real tough one for our boys and will really test whether we have improved or not. They will bring a lot more heat than Brissy did and stretch our defence with their style.

I suspect we will put a lot of time into trying to drag Moore away from the play. Expect Marshall or Dixon to nearly play a decoy role. We'd back George and one of those against Frampton any day.

Will be intriguing to watch how we handle the pressure. We dominated clearances and possession, as we do, against them last time for no reward. If we're to prove we're improving, we need to continue to get reward from our ball control and hurt the opposition on the scoreboard.

Collingwood deserve favouritism, but if we're serious this is definitely a winnable game. I'm just not convinced we're that good yet. Looking forward to the ride.

If Boak is fit, he plays. We need our best gut runners against a side who are one of the fittest & hardest running sides in the competition. To their credit, the Pies have repeatedly shown a strong desire & willing determination to fight to the bitter end. Players like Trav, X, Drew, & SPP will be crucial going into this week, if they can perform to their best we can roll them.

Just such an exciting side to watch. McRae has them coached superbly.

Its a big ask.
It is a big ask, they are a very quick, hard running side. But for all of their attacking flair, Geelong were able to score fairly easily against them. I know they kicked straight, but for most of that video Geelong are in front well. That is where hopefully we will be able to get hold of them too.

I know, enormously fun day. Mind you Lachie Neale on AFL360 last night blamed their loss 96.3% on them being flat and 3.7% on us being good (my estimated figures).
Let's hope Collingwood also find themselves feeling surprisingly flat.
Chasing tails of stronger, quicker midfielders, then being under relentless pressure on the rare occasion you have possession of the ball will unsurprisingly have you feeling pretty ****ing flat

Move Mitch Georgiades down back (time to do a Chad Cornes).
Bring in Finlayson for McKenzie.
Boaky to replace Evans.
Make Duursma the SUB.
