A few sore boys. Naughton sore but must play not sure about Wallis. Only a 5 day break.

Ins Scott, West, Buku
Outs McComb, Wallis inj, Roarke

Scott West? That's ambitious.

Can't drop Roarke. Was solid. McComb won't be dropped as much as people may want him to be

Good pick up LOL but there is a comma between Scott and West. I wish Scotty still played he was a A plus player. Thought Anthony Scott was one of our better players against the crows.

Yeah I know there is a comma, but had to do it.

Yes if he's over COVID Scott should be back in. English is a chance but probably more likely for the Collingwood game.

Not sure we have anyone else to come back yet.

Just have to win ugly until we do.

Wallis is a chance to get up and Buku would have to be a shot as he's been consistent

I wouldnt have thought McComb wouldn't get a gig next week. But Beveridge has pretty much confirmed he will keep his spot.

Beveridge has confirmed English won't be in either.

So I'm guessing it will be:
Out: Cordy
In: Khamis

McComb has to be dropped after two weeks of that disposal. Has to go back and work on it.

Glad he got the goals, good on him for getting this far - but here is the next thing you need to do to get back in.

I'd be dropping McComb personally, but think his couple goals will probably save him despite probably not recording a single effective kick. He actually looked to position himself well, applied pressure, chased hard and provided options when we were coming out of defence, but my god was his kicking bad. It's a pity - if he could clean that up, he might almost be a viable option for us on a wing, although I wouldn't be confident playing both him and Roarke in the same side once we've got a fitter list.

It’s more about rotation and positioning I think. We have no other wingers to come in and replace him.

I'll sign up for not much more than match payments. I'm a big bodied midfielder and as mobile as Martin - so I should be ok...

I can see why a few aren’t keen on him but I’m happy to give him a few more games at the level whilst we can.

Much rather Khamis, JUH, Sweet got the games into them at AFL level. We can cover a small, slow midfielder - we need to get games into our KPP depth, not guys like McComb.

Unfortunately Sweet barely touched it in the VFL. He had one really good moment where he roved a ball out of the middle, ran around a couple players, got the clearance and delivered it inside 50. But apart from that, 2 kicks and 4 handballs for the game is just not enough production for a ruckman. Martin was virtually invisible today outside the ruck, and even he managed 10 touches (1 and 9). To be honest, I'd rather see Sweet over Martin in the seniors, but I just can't see us picking him until he starts producing double figure disposals every week.

Agree with JUH and Khamis

1 more week of Martin.

Luckily Port don't really have a great ruckman now Lycett is out

Understand your point on Sweet - but McComb's had two weeks at basically 0% DE. So effectively, he's not getting it, aside from the goals today. I'm not trying to have a go at him personally, it's just obvious 1) he's struggling at the level and 2) we need to get games into KPP instead of 15th/16th in line midfielders...

Is Martin going to be able to back up a game in 5 days? Sweet hasn't been banging down the door in the VFL or anything, but may be pushing Stef too hard giving him 2 games in 5 days. Hopefully see Khamis too this week as he has really earned a spot.
