I'm not sure Naicos to defence is the call. I'd like him to settle in as a fwd mid, which really places Lipinski in the gun. I'd have Lipinski sub before Ginnivan though, as he can play more roles.

Yep, like the defence we rolled with last week.
N.Daicos to half forward/midfield could be an X-Factor for us.
In terms of sub though, would prefer Ginnivan kept his spot.

Lipinski lacks hunger around the ball. Seems quite reluctant sometimes to get into the contest. He has also made many an error this season and think we'd be better off therefore with Ginnivan

There is a considerable difference in work rate between those two. If you could promise me we'd only need the sub in the last quarter I'd take Ginnivan. For the whole game I'd take Lipinski.

sssssssh.. please don't say that out loud.

Go outside, turn around three times and curse. Spit.

Spit and curse. Do everything.

What's the matter with you?

Don't say it!

Last time we said that we had Hill as a late out and we lost to Carlton!

Please delete this post.

We've got a preliminary final coming up. We've won 42 of those, but only 15 times the next week. Our history shows that anything can happen to derail us.

We don't need to put the mozz on ourselves!

Hahaha guys I never said anything was a guarantee, just stating the fact we are in a good position list wise for this time of the year. Still a truck load of work to do if we are to win it, nothing is a given, but we have put ourselves in the best position

Seems the one but it could be Markov especially if Nick plays half back. He would be very unlucky.

Gee Leggy was good early on against the Dees.

I think Lippa goes out and it's a choice of he or Ginni for sub.

The energy it brings the crowd when Ginni is subbed on can't be understated.

We just don't say we have a full list, no injuries etc etc...out loud. As soon as you say it. Bam. They start dropping like flies. Moore was fine until you mentioned it. Now he has a cast on his arm. See?

ssssh..

Still would love a curve ball

Out Cameron in Krueger

Out Lipinski in naicos

Kreuger would be an awesome curveball.. won’t happen of course . If Cameron plays a stinker or he or a ke6 forward gets injured you never know…. Just needs to keep training the house down to be on call. He’d add some mongrel!

Herald Sun running with Tom Mitchell to miss out. I thought he was important in the first half last Thursday but they wrote that he only played 11 minutes in the last quarter when the game was up for grabs and his worst game was against Port not too long ago.

They are clueless.

When we were actually WINNING the game in the first quarter, he was in the thick of it. Our most 'head over the footy' player and it WAS hot in there, albeit we absolutely effing brained them - when we were full tilt.

There's zero chance he gets dropped. Zero. It's laughable

I'm telling y'all, Dixon is a threat, he's too big and strong for everyone but Moore who's better off with more freedom than having to lock down a gorilla, and Frampton is the perfect size and shape to take him on. Plus, I don't care if he was at Adelaide after he was at Port and it was therefore a long time ago, he was set adrift by the Power and he will be extra motivated to stick one up them.

It's harder to see who to drop for him with Bruzzy emancipated, but horses for courses I'd still favour finding a way to include Frampton to stand Dixon.

Given Fly has gone out of his way to continue pumping up the dual ruck scenario, I don't see that happening either.

To be honest I think we're mainly wedded to the two ruck setup of Cox and Cameron because neither can be trusted to do the job alone.

Not sure we'd lose to much by playing Frampton as the 2nd ruck if we had to and he would provide the added benefit of defensive cover.

I think you're counting your courses before they've run their course. I rate Port, but GWS are playing well.

GWS are the form team of the competition.

But the top 4 team that loses the QF is often the underdog a week later, but proves superior to the 2nd 4 team that wins their elimination final, especially when they have interstate home ground advantage.

I think both semi-finals will be extremely competitive but I suspect that both QF losers win through eventually.

If GWS prevail I will reassess

Lipinski is a poor choice for sub imo because it's really defensive. It's "we might lose someone important, we need someone who can be 2/3 of a Mitchell or Pendlebury in case we lose one of those guys."

I'd prefer our sub to be a legit wild card game-changing inclusion. Ginnivan could be that. Ash Johnson, who is a country mile from inclusion in the starting 22, could be that. Reef McInnes could be that.

Lipinski can't be that.

Sorry but it's a no from me

The cursed theory, got it.

My personal opinion, this playing group is a group of young men who don't harbor superstitions.

Highly confident that this group will be in the correct mindset given Fly and his mantra of positivity.

Let's read no more discussion on curses god damn it!

I'm sure they don't.

We do.
