This is my view also, irrespective of the opponent. Soft players struggle in finals.

You might consider dropping Cameron depending on how deadly their rucks are.

I feel like Moore plays better with Frampton, as would Howe when not required to kill every ball like a kamikaze. But again depends on the oppositions marking power in the 50.

I wanted WHE dropped for last night instead of Noble. Listening to Fly sounds like it was almost a toss of the coin. Glad they went the way they did and no way WHE gets left out now for the Prelim. Cant see Noble getting back in unless we get injuries and/or suspensions.

I’m with 3rdMan in that suggesting changes at this point is probably premature. As of 6:01pm tonight these are my changes:

In: Naicos
Out: Maynard

Maynard is going to get 3 weeks and be sent straight to the tribunal because the MRO has no real alternative. The thing is he gets off at the tribunal, IMO, because he has no reasonable alternative and it was a football action.

Until he gets cleared though it’s all elementary.

Embarrassing press conference. The result was all that mattered with the two high hits. But the result didn't matter with the game...

They didn't dominate for 3 quarters. They dominated for 1 and it was a quarter where we were purely in keep the game congested mode, rather than our open it up and score mode. If his take from that game was positive except for the scoreboard - they're stuffed.

_Striking ..he didn’t strike
_Bumping ..he didn’t bump
_Rough conduct ..he jumped and extended his arms to smother, momentum forward and he lands 15 ft forward from where he took off and accidentally collides with someone coming the other way.
_Bringing the game into disrepute ..he had to listen to Goodwin’s presser after the game

Theoretical.

If Maynard is suspended…then so be it.

Noble is the obvious replacement given he was stiff to be dropped and has been part of our best back six for three years but are there other options we might look at?
Frampton who played what fly said was his best game of the year last start
Ruscoe who is the best like for like match for Maynard and been in good consistent vfl form
Daicos just comes in and fills that role

Whatever happens, Collingwood will cope. It won’t derail our season

Personally I think he should get off but frankly it’s pointless to speculate.
