Fantastic that Freo got up. I would much prefer to play them than Dogs at The G and I reckon they could easily start slow/flat after such a come-back.

We beat Carlton without Adams. We can defer items beat Freo.

How do you fancy our chances the following week without Adams against the Swans?

Tough to lose Tay with big contested games coming up. Need to keep the intent up and finish our forward entries a little better. Bit fumble and a bit ‘tight’ a few times. Funny how players get pounded for that but umpires are pretty much immune when they **** up a bit.

About the same as our chances against the Tiges in 2018. There's literally no point worrying about a prelim opponent right now.
Spot on. Knocking a few pool balls around listening to some Springsteen and ‘unpacking’, **** I hate that phrase/word, todays game a bit.
Still enjoying this ride our boys have taken us on this year and there’s still a bit to play out yet.

We got a lot of i50s but seemed to lack that one key target.
Cox really has had a great year. Better than 2018.
However, we need to be a lot more dangerous up forward. Krueger gives a lot more energy and repeat efforts. I’d go with Kruger over Cox.
Cameron was very good in the ruck today.
Play him as ruck and pinch hit with Krueger/Johnson. I’d be also be tempted to bring Henry in… but I can’t think of an omission for him.

Out: Adams, Cox
In: Carmichael, Freddy

Cox just doesn’t provide enough of a scoring threat, and we need a genuine pack crasher to support Checkers.

Adams is almost irreplaceable right now. Devastated that he’s injured himself again.
Cox was good today. There seems to be an endless push to get him out of the team.

By the time that game starts the Swans will of had 2 weeks break out of 3 weeks… very easy to lose some momentum and intensity with 2 byes.
I agree. I just can't get my head around the conga line of negative nancies. We were a minute and a good decision away from the upset of the decade.

Krueger is not playing in Cox's position. It's not an either or. I think Fly loves Freddy as much as I do. I'll be surprised if he's not in the side next week.

How do you fancy our chances the following week without Adams against the Swans?

One week at a time, Buddy.

We were in the game against them a few weeks back without Adams or DeGoey. We’ll have DeGoey next time, so that’s as win. We’ll also need a few to have career-best games but why not?

We need to be bold. Kreuger is a must.

Also Jamie Elliott and the Daicos brothers will need to spend much more time in centre square for remainder of our finals campaign.

Mihocek is very, very clearly injured. He barely impacted a single contest in the air all day. Butchered multiple gimme goals. Couldn’t move with enough agility to apply any defensive pressure.

He’s our workhorse, but he’s lame right now. He’s first out before Cox and Cameron for me, unless he does a LOT of healing in the next week.

The poor guy’s been hobbling around on one leg for at least a month now.

Out: Checkers, Adams
In: Kreuger… and you just know it’s gonna be Cal Brown. Eh, maybe it will be the making of him

I think we'll go in tall with Krueger staying in for Adams and Elliott going into the midfield.

I don't think this will happen. McRae said in presser they were concerned Kreuger wasnt fit enough to play a full game. That won't change by next week.

Id guess it will be Macrae or Carmichael in for Adams, and Kreuger stays as sub.

Something isn’t right with Checkers.

I’m not sure if it’s a change role since AJ joined the team, but he’s just not taking marks or impacting the scoreboard.

Since AJs in the team - 6 games:

8 goals (1.33)
49 disposals (average 8.2)
12 marks (2)

Prior to AJ - 15 games

Average : 10 disposals, 2 goals & 5.53 marks.

Lost 20% of his possessions, 33% of his goals and 64% loss in marks.

Massive.

Why would you name Cameron and Cox as potential outs? What are you watching?
