Irregardless if its an event for kids you can at least design a jumper with some taste.

Saints would never do something like that for Maddies Match for example.

Yep, its for the kids. So design a jumper that is attractive enough for the type of person that wants to but North memorabilia , not some super hero costume. Maximize the possible return to help the kids.

I've bought several player jumpers in auctions but would never buy this one. It's hideous.

It's not a great design but mabie it was done with kids input in a comp or something, it's a superhero themed jumper, we play at Marvel stadium and the target marked is... the kids not blokes in there 50's
