I predict Bonar will be a forced in and forced to play on McKay or Curnow.

The result will be predictable and Bonar will be roundly abused on here for not being an effective full back.

But if that is the role that gets him a game it’s right to say he’s not up to it.

We have better options at mid and fwd, He’s not a running half back, nor a lock down small defender the only role he is kind of suited to is a third tall/ undersized kpb and he simply isn’t that good at it.

Agree on the midfield but if we let Saad get off the chain, their forward entries will improve markedly and it's basically game over.

Having an interceptor/third man up for Curnow/McKay contests, at least breaking even in the midfield, and stopping Saad strike me as the three key elements. How we go about doing those, particularly the last one, who knows

If they are missing martin and williams, thats a lot of outside run. Clamp down Saad (Sugar) and slow down their entries into 50 to allow holes to be filled in front of curnow and mckay (mckay especially) not sure theres much point putting too much energy into stopping Charlie. He’ll take us to task either way.
