Fantasia needs to really light up & show some durability to get game in my book, a bloke that doesn't trust his body could potentially hurt our front half pressure.

You would be crazy to write off Geelong on their current win/loss record. They are starting to get some of their better players back on the park & always find another gear heading into winter.

Bring back Burton for Sinn & Narkle for Bonner.

If Narkle plays another really good game, I wouldn't mind seeing him come into the team at the expense of the young Sinn playing against his old side.

We really need to beat Geelong and have our best players ready to go. It is a bit of a statement game in regards to the contenders and old wounds and hopefully new beginnings.

There is no way Jonas is getting back into this team for the remainder of the season.

He has played his last game at AFL level.

Jones offers far more than Jonas in regards to his closing speed and attack on the footy.

Geelong is a big test for him. Wouldn’t mind debuting Dante to crash and bash a bit then sub him or Scooter off and inject another small.

Sinn was pick 12 in 2021. It shouldn't take someone leaving to be given an AFL opportunity

Agreed.

But a pick 12 with (say…) 6-10 games experience is a lot better than one with say 1 game.

His games in the SANFL haven’t been fantastic and he is yet to play out a full AFL game.

Burton for Sinn in the 22 makes sense against Geelong. Bonner out for a different sub (Sinn, Jackson (unlikely), Mead)

Sinn stays in. Finding his feet there were a couple of things he did that were good let him settle there is a massive up side.

Bonner is not someone who should be sub.

Narkle is absolutely a genuine Mid who will find the ball will provide defensive pressure is the obvious sub and that we are playing Geelong wouldn't hurt either.

Bonner seems to take a while to get with the pace of the game and therefore is not an ideal sub, particularly if he comes on late in the game. He was caught holding the ball when he came on because he thought he had more time than he did. The sub needs to be an energtic switched on type. Narkle seems that type of player.

The double leg amputation at half time will not be ideal but hopefully he can still get his hands on it in the second half.

Think Narkle comes in over Bonner. He looked really clean and disposal was excellent today. Good to have some competition for places.

Tough one but do we keep putting games into Bergman if he’s not signed by the end of the month? He’s certainly replaceable.
