Our rucks did manage to take some marks in our forward line and got a couple of goals so it didn't not work totally. McInerny is a threat when he goes forward , usually snags a mark or two.

Where the structure fell down a bit particularly later in the game was Ah Chee on his own with 2 or 3 opponents. I think that was partly due to him not being able to run and others being injured so we propped him there and he did get hold of it often enough but we did miss a big body at that stage. On reflection Lohman and Starcevich being off and Ah Chee on one leg probably limited our options.

Listening to SEN right now, had minor heart failure. Whateley reported something to the effect “…and Michael Whiting reporting devastating news, confirmation Charlie…”

NNNNNOOOOO….

“Ballard has ruptured his ACL.”

That is devastating for Charlie Ballard, and no disrespect to him, but it doesn’t upset me nearly as much as i thought the news was going to.

Gcs just can’t catch a trick. Year after year their top lines cycle in and out with injury, including plenty of long termers. It’s been a very unfortunate run.

I’m saying that I think they had their best run with injuries in their existence last year and it didn’t seem to make a difference.
