And Viney is literally exactly the same. I'm not defending Tyson - I don't really give a **** - but I'm sick of the hyperbolic whipping boy culture on this board. It's a laughable suggestion that Tyson is a VFL player when he'd walk into any midfield in the league except the NSW teams. Viney should be susceptible to the same criticism but because he chucks someone around in a tackle once every few weeks and comes back from injury a week or two early everyone here sucks him off when his form has been deplorable at times this year

I've never called for Tyson to be dropped to the VFL lol, and despite some average games Viney has still had a lot more impact on our actual performances. Tyson shits me because he'd be a legitimate A grade mid if he didn't burn the ball as much as he does, his kicking is crap for an AFL player.

not you but plenty of people around here have said it - either that or the suggestion that we'd trade him for a second rounder

Hogan, Watts, Trengove, Harmes

Pedersen, Jones, Vince, Maynard

Gawn playing forward with McDonald.

Sorry Trenners :(
Changing mine to:

Out: Hogan (inj.), Trengove, Harmes
In: Weideman, Jones, Maynard

where are the dees fans that wanted Melksham droppee by the way? Man up and own up. He has been one of our best recently.

Reporting in! He's still an Essendon flog and it will take me a while to change my opinion, but he's definitely been more useful as of late. Watts has been good for a while before this too, didn't stop you from laying into him. It's almost like a given player's form ebbs and flows...

On Watts, he can still be one of our better players, but he's such a confidence player and needs momentum to hit his stride that you can pretty much guarantee he'll be useless any time he gets injured or misses games. When he's playing well he should be worth another goal or three with his skills, so it's really hard to stomach a close loss to a shit team when he's anonymous. Really not good enough from a guy who has been around almost 10 years.

Gawn's marking not as good as it was last year, dunno if we can go with him up forward.

Times like this are where we really miss Vandeberg.

Don't want to bring Weed in, not gonna be an easy game vs the Giants with Corr or Tomlinson just a little stronger ATM. Would rather play a smaller forward structure. Play Trac CHF, play Vince/Stretch and Jones in the guts

Not sure why it needs being said, but just because you criticise a player occasionally doesn't mean you need to then offer a formal apology if and when that guy has a few good games. It also doesn't mean you're writing that player off. The joys of internet banter; everything must be black or white...

I'm not shocked that we've lost twice in a season to the 2nd worst club in the comp, but what I'm shocked at is that for both games Goodwin has come out and said we lacked hunger for the contest. This is inexcusable against the 17th place team with a finals spot on the line.

Is our gameplan too taxing on the players?? We faded horribly in the last couple of games last season and besides a decent half against Port, we are struggling for form over the past month. I know injuries haven't helped and we still have some young players, but watching the game on Saturday, we looked to have some tired players and looked slow at times against one of the slowest sides in the comp. We come up against one of the quickest sides this weekend, so Im a little concerned.

Nah, you just look slower when you're jogging and the other guy is running with some intent.

But I've written Milkshakes off.

Poor Sir Hugh Percy, surely you know now not to make bets against norf

And how long do we have to suffer for this Norf sig bet?

Striker475 - can you please card Sir Hugh Percy so that we don't have to suffer through this for his silliness?

I've warned you all before that I'm going to keep ******* making these bets until I ******* win one. Then it's going to be so, so sweet! :rainbow:

I really hate this team sometimes... actually, most if the time. :(

It's only for a month.

We just lost to a bottom 4 side by less than a goal, and now that we're playing a top 4 side the consensus is drop Best 22 players (ie: Vince) to give them a chance to "earn their spot back".

That's a ****ing awesome idea. I say we drop everyone.

Because he was flying before he got rubbed out....
It's not called getting dropped if you weren't in the side anyway mate and we did ok vs Port without him.
Can't carry on with this shit every time he gets frustrated, it costs the team.

Vince might not have been flying but he was holding his spot and I'd rather an experienced player than someone who hasn't played a game, especially given what's at stake.

Suspensions aren't ideal, hopefully the leadership group have smashed him for it.
