The upside of having Covid is the law prevents me from attending the game tomorrow night. Downside is I can’t drink whilst taking the antivirals![]()

IF you are referring to the huge differential in Hit Out numbers (88 for 151 against) as the reason you say Lycett is getting smashed, then you have a point but despite this, we are still ahead on the clearances which makes the hit out stat almost redundant. So Lycett gets SMASHED 3 weeks in a row, and Hayes still cant get a look in. TBH, Rucking Wines would be better than Lycett. Hes trash. Hes achieved what he wanted to achieve and now hes just in it for the pay check
Show me fourth quarter clearances for and against, and then we'll see the negative value of a ruckman that can't compete because he's shagged.IF you are referring to the huge differential in Hit Out numbers (88 for 151 against) as the reason you say Lycett is getting smashed, then you have a point but despite this, we are still ahead on the clearances which makes the hit out stat almost redundant.

and also when Marshall isn't ruckingGood luck to Mitch who will have to take on Tomlison, Lever and May all by himself for 50% of the game when Marshall is rucking.......
Would not have a clue where to find that data but it would be interesting.Show me fourth quarter clearances for and against, and then we'll see the negative value of a ruckman that can't compete because he's shagged.
So our plan is to kick it along the ground? Dirty entries ala West Coast in Perth?Good luck to Mitch who will have to take on Tomlison, Lever and May all by himself for 50% of the game when Marshall is rucking.......
If the opposition isn’t getting advantage of theirs HO, could one reason for that be Lycett’s approach? I mean, he does seem to go for the other ruck’s body quite often.IF you are referring to the huge differential in Hit Out numbers (88 for 151 against) as the reason you say Lycett is getting smashed, then you have a point but despite this, we are still ahead on the clearances which makes the hit out stat almost redundant.

If Hayes isn’t ready surely that makes the trading away of Ladhams criminal.
It was criminal before they decided to not give Hayes a shot… butchered list, wasted our chance for a flag. Scared of success those at the Port right nowIf Hayes isn’t ready surely that makes the trading away of Ladhams criminal.

You can understand going into the season with only one ruckman who has any AFL experience and only one ruckman deemed AFL ready by the club. This was always planned to be a rebuilding type year anyway.
Sam Hayes was close to, if not the, best ruck in the SANFL last year. What good are games at the same reserves level going to do if he has no better opponents?Hayes played in the pre season games and he wasn’t very good. He probably needs to put together a couple big games at sanfl level before coming in.
Ladhams is not very good either. He can’t get a game for Sydney so It’s not liking he is making us pay for trading him.
Hindsight we probably should’ve held onto lienert given how bad skinner has been but I’m not too fussed about ladhams, hayes will get there eventually.

Far too much sarcasm tonight.
