The upside of having Covid is the law prevents me from attending the game tomorrow night. Downside is I can’t drink whilst taking the antivirals 😢

Nembutol numbs it all
But I prefer alcohol

So Lycett gets SMASHED 3 weeks in a row, and Hayes still cant get a look in. TBH, Rucking Wines would be better than Lycett. Hes trash. Hes achieved what he wanted to achieve and now hes just in it for the pay check
IF you are referring to the huge differential in Hit Out numbers (88 for 151 against) as the reason you say Lycett is getting smashed, then you have a point but despite this, we are still ahead on the clearances which makes the hit out stat almost redundant.

Clearances Stat Port:135 Opposition:110

I’m suprised bergman didn’t come in. Nothing else surprising about the selections though.

We are running out of options.

I probably would’ve brought in Gray for McEntee, I get that he hasn’t trained with the group for a week but did he even have covid or was he just a close contact? If just a close contact surely he is a better option than both McEntee and Motlop?

Some have mentioned Bergman for Motlop but doesn’t Bergman play down back?

Show me fourth quarter clearances for and against, and then we'll see the negative value of a ruckman that can't compete because he's shagged.

If the opposition isn’t getting advantage of theirs HO, could one reason for that be Lycett’s approach? I mean, he does seem to go for the other ruck’s body quite often.

So apparently outside of injury there is no need for any changes.
Obviously we are all pretty clueless compared to our coaches.
Clearly we can afford to carry Motlop. MacKenzie while battling on is clearly carry an injury.
Rozee seems to be learning from Motlop as far as consistency and effort go.
Meanwhile Lycett is competing as hard as he can but obviously doesn’t require support.
Maybe we’re a bit limited for options but at some stage the non performers need to be dropped.
So frustrating…..but I’ll probably manage to see at least part of the match online. Call it morbid curiosity I guess…

If Hayes isn’t ready surely that makes the trading away of Ladhams criminal.

You can understand going into the season with only one ruckman who has any AFL experience and only one ruckman deemed AFL ready by the club. This was always planned to be a rebuilding type year anyway.

Fredrick showed way more heart and endeavour, and actually produced a lot more in 1 qtr than the spectator with the best seats in the house, right along side the play has, yet still gets dropped ahead of him..
Sending all the wrong messages right there, no wonder we can’t get anywhere…

Float around and do fk all still get a spot ahead of honest hard working, tough, head over the ball types that actually put in 100%

Shocking call, what’s happened to our club.

Hayes played in the pre season games and he wasn’t very good. He probably needs to put together a couple big games at sanfl level before coming in.

Ladhams is not very good either. He can’t get a game for Sydney so It’s not liking he is making us pay for trading him.

Hindsight we probably should’ve held onto lienert given how bad skinner has been but I’m not too fussed about ladhams, hayes will get there eventually.

Sam Hayes was close to, if not the, best ruck in the SANFL last year. What good are games at the same reserves level going to do if he has no better opponents?

Who told you that? They lied mate.

As a result of a lot of extremely dedicated research and hardcore experimenting In the 80s and 90s , I categorically deny your statement.

Taking alcohol with anti virals will actually enhance the effect of the meds, with no lingering side effects after you sober up, except maybe a headache from the anti virals.

Some preparation is required though, find a comfy couch you can lay on without hitting the floor, have at least a litre of the alcohol of your choice ( 2 if the game goes the way I think it will) a chunder bucket ( also useful as a piss bucket bucket if can't walk to the dunny) and you're set to go.

You may experience some odd side effects but trust me, being able see through your hand and hearing the colours on your wall is totally normal and no different to being at a Pink Floyd concert. The dragon in your fridge will tell you to ease up on your drinking but he knows nothing, another 250mls of alcohol and he will be quiet.

Hope this helps as I'm also in isolation and it's working fine for me 😁👍
