I'm gonna put the blowtorch on Bowey here.

His kicking is really irritating me at the moment. Both last weekend and several times over the pre-season he's just kicked it straight to the opposition aimlessly.

There was one moment on Sunday where he just kicked it straight into the middle of the ground to a group of North players under no real pressure, which resulted in a turnover goal to them.

This is his 5th year at the club, not good enough.

Agreed. He is so lost at the moment.

I'm screaming for Goody to try him forward. He's not working as a defender and we have no real decent small forwards outside of Koz (Chandler had a good game too). Surely Bowie forward is worth a shot?

I've been big on trying him forward as well, and while the few howlers he has really stand out, he's also our 5th best for kicking efficiency at 82.9% so this feels like one of those classic things a couple of BigFooty posters bring up and then it somehow becomes fact.

Howes (37.5), Sparrow (38.5) and Fritsch (40.0) are the ones to be pointing this stick at.

Out: watching pissweak campaigners pretending to be Melbourne Demons football players.
In: enjoying the last days of daylight savings. Clean the garage. Find birds to take photos off. Read a ****in' book or something.

A kick to 2 Norf players on their own, hit one of them on the chest. Most efficient.
I might ask how the statisticians measure efficiency.

As I said, the howlers really stick out and people remember them. Makes more sense to actually look at who is turning it over by foot consistently.

Remember the streak for what it was

(Although last time i said this they ended up winning. Either way i'm certain the hawks one will be over this season at least)

I’m telling you we are losing it at selection. Imagine playing Laser for half a match at Casey and then putting him on ice. So not only is our seniors suffering by not have him but now your shooting Casey in the foot to. Absolute shambles.

Losing at selection? We had about 20 passengers this week and our depth are a bunch of spuds. You think your hero Laurie is going to make an ounce of a difference?

Delusional.

Don't feed the troll. He's just trying to be funny with Laurie for some reason.

Man these replies are so reactionary. sure it was a terrible loss, but it was the exact same team that almost beat the flag fancies 1 week ago. People have short memories. At least be consistent and say the same thing after the GWS loss. But people didn't.

And as far as I'm concerned our depth is better than ever. We've got Pickett, May, Windsor and McVee to return. Billings is now in the VFL. And Aidan Johnson and Henderson are contributing as well as Lindsay who is a gem that we've got for the next 10 years.

Half of us this have been saying this for 4 years but you have the most selective reading ive ever seen.

Popular opinion on the board is that the Dees suck, time for Dan to contrarian up and say everything is actually better than it seems. I never saw this coming.
Isn't this the most fair dinkum thing. Always gotta be the opposite

We have been consistently saying our game plan doesn't work and the forward entries are pox for years. One half decent game against GWS doesn't change that narrative.
