Shame not to get the result we wanted but god damn we nullified them on the counter so well.
Reece was brilliant defensively and delivered lethal crosses regularly. He's fast realising his potential. And he's 20!

Think we should have brought Giroud on earlier, and Pulisic too.

James is amazing, he and Mount(and Tammy) will inspire they Academy kids coming through.

Frank held his own against Mou this morning, manuring nicely as our manager.

What a masterclass by Giroud; he is such a clinical finisher that it does surprise me that Frank doesn't use more often in EPL games.

The other thing I love about Olivier which is really evident from watching Inside Chelsea and other content is what a friendly and popular lad he is.

Also good to see so many of the lads that aren't getting much game time performing too, hard to fault any of them.

It's no secret that most of our big money signings in recent years have been awful (Morata, Kepa, Bakayoko, Drinkwater for 35m). It's so refreshing to see that our spending is paying off, and Mendy would have to be the most influential of the lot so far. Having someone with such a presence and a voice between the sticks makes me watching us so more comforting than when Kepa was there.

Top of the league! Zouma's season has been absolutely massive. James' crosses getting met by Giroud's headers was a beautiful sight. Not only is this team playing well, but it's very very fun to watch. If we keep this up, it's going to be a great season and we should keep challenging for the title!

Let's predict the line up against Krasnodar.

Kepa
Azpi - Tomori - Christensen - Emerson
Jorginho
Havertz - Gilmour?
Hudson-Odoi - Giroud - Pulisic?
I'd have Kova, Rudiger and Tammy in there over Havertz, Tomori and Giroud.

We will have some tired boys running 11kms more than our average.

Havertz was just for more match fitness really.

What happens when Ziyech comes back? Ziyech, Werner and Puli are our three best attacking players, but to get the best out of Werner does he need to play off a target man? Would love to see Werner lead the line. I see a bit of Suarez in Timo. They can both find space and are deadly when they’re in it. Similar attributes, movement and intelligence. Both around 180cm. Suarez was f***ing ruthless though. And on another level technically.

Christmas period is busy as ****. There will be significant rotation.
I think we will tweak depending on opponents. Puli coming off the bench is not the worst thing in the world.

But yeah people having a go at Timo cos of him missing chances are missing the fact that he gets a lot of chances. That's why he scored 30+ in the Bundesliga.
If he was more clinical, or even better for us gets more clinical he will be one of the best on the planet.

For sure. He could genuinely have had two hat tricks the past two prem games. Whilst frustrating he has missed some sitters, I think he’ll start banging them in very soon.

The fact we have scored the second most goals in the league with Puli barely featuring, Timo and Kai looking rusty at stages and Ziyech being in and out of the side due to injury is pretty amazing. If it all clicks, we’re in it up to our eyeballs.

Yup Werner will be fine. Very different to Torres and Morata towards the end who didn't provide any threat at all.
