Was so good to see Lukaku benched, and King Kai looked superb! Yeah he missed a few chances, but I feel like we looked totally different with our movement in the fwd half.

Love Kai, he's still so young but you can just see the class. Going to be world class!!!

Not 100% convinced by Havertz.

mate, scored the winner and winning penalty in Champions League final and Club World Cup final.
Ederson’s keeping gifted him that CL goal. If you watch the replay, Kai’s first touch was way too heavy and Ederson slowed it down when he came off his line which allowed him to get through. It was a lucky goal in the end.

And no one gives a shit about the Club World Cup. Havertz took a penalty that he didn’t win and converted against a keeper no one has heard of. Big deal.

He has scored 6 goals in 44 league apps. That is a shocking return. What did he cost us again? £75m plus add ons? Everyone gives Lukaku sh*t yet he’s 5 from 17. How low are our standards for this guy?

He’s too lacklustre. Looks great on the odd occasion when he shows urgency but 80% of the time he’s bloody ordinary. Such a nothing player for the vast majority of the time with the occasional flash of brilliance.

We don’t have one high quality, world class attacking player (and that includes Mount). Liverpool and City probably have 5 each.

Havertz's price tag was clearly with his age and potential in mind
I get that, but I’m pretty sure he was expected to be a first team player at Chelsea. He wasn’t some mug in the Bundesliga. He was an established player who was performing to a high standard consistently. 17 goals in 18/19 and 12 goals 19/20. He was scoring a goal every two games. At Chelsea he’s scoring a goal every 7.5 games.

Hes had covid twice while he's been here too.
Which is unfortunate and certainly would’ve impacted his form. Not denying that.

I really hope he makes me look silly, but I don’t see much there. What are his strengths? What is his best position? Where will he play long term?

Yeah I dunno, he just oozes class to me but we do need to find his true spot in this team. TT and Kai have both mentioned they thinks hes a 9/10 hybrid and this is where he'll play his best footy. He's still only 22 so he's going to take a couple of seasons before he peaks.

I guess that also one of his strengths as he can play multiple positions whether its up front, on a wing or as an attacking mid(number 8 type)

I’d prefer him to nail down one position and make it his own. How many world class players get thrown around all over the pitch? The best usually have one position and are very good at it.

But anyway, we’ll see how he goes. Has time on his side no doubt.
