apology, must of missed that.

when did he apologise to adams for what he did.
Apparently he did it twice from reports.

Once on the ground and once on the phone the next day.

What shits people is that he didn't mention Adams once in any of his post-trial statements. Only crapped on about being remorseful for the effect on the club etc.

I'm prudent in using, nay, directly quoting your own words, remember?

So then quote them and the context they were made in. No point gesturing to a word and then applying it where it was never used; then saying something stupid like "oh I highly doubt that" when it's right in front of your face.

Ok, so what's the intent of appealing a sentence?

The objective of an appeal would be to contest the finding that Judd's action was intentional in it's aim to hurt or injure Adams. The length of the suspension has nothing to do with it beyond by-product.

As I said, the boat's already sailed on you having got this one wrong. Be a man, own up to your errors and move on. Flailing around trying to make these extraneous links isn't a good look.

I'm not agreeing with your paranoia about the quotes and I don't think you've internalised what was stated.

I'm not really focusing much on what you've stated beyond how it correlates to your original "summation". I'm not so interested in how you rephrase or alter what you said now you've realised it wasn't really correct.

Yeah, you must of.......

Judd probably didn't realize he had to copy you in on the apology......

No mate, he got posterior to Warnock and used a single arm as leverage twisting the arm and shoulder in the process.

None of that contradicts my version of events that he lost contact with Warnock's body and grabbed onto his arm on the way down.

As Judd's defense team said ... a legitimate exercise in an illegitimate manner.

They would say that.

Neither of these types of "tackles" should be performed on an AFL field.

Which tackles, plural, are you talking about? Judd's maneuver wasn't a tackle, the Rioli tackle was a tackle, and a fair one as adjudged by both the umpires, the MRP, and indeed Warnock's teammates at the time.

You described the action pretty well, using the arm as leverage, with the twisting being secondary. Again, there is no rule that you're not allowed to hurt your opponent in a legitimate tackling action.

I am talking about Judd's and Rioli's "tackles". Neither of them were really tackles at all and neither of them should be allowed on a football field, which I'm sure will be the result of all this.

... and a fair one as adjudged by both the umpires, the MRP, and indeed Warnock's teammates at the time.

The absence of a judgement is not a judgement.

So who have North replaced Adams with this week? How long is he out for?

EDIT: just checked afl.com.au, it appears that the only out is Ziebel. Adams must be going to be a late withdrawal, how can a man play AFL after having a shoulder removed on the field the week before?

Very poor showing from Judd tonight before the game refused to say anything about it instead he just wants to move on. An acknowledgement that what he did was a serious mistake would have gone a small way to repairing his public standing.

Brad Scott should apologise for the Ziebell BS but alas im sure he will whinge about some crap this week.

So he is not hated because Carlton got him and the rest of you sooks didnt build a bridge champ.
Remember the only reason you got him was because you cheated, then were penalised, therefore putting you in a position to trade for him. Then the $1M that the AFL fined you was handed back, after you cried poor. Then you paid Dennis out.

I hate the interview i saw of Judd a few hours ago where the channel 7 team tried to portray Judd as the innocent victim on all this.

Was it anything like this "man of contradictions" piece?

Shameless image makeover. Similar was attempted for Dick Pratt towards the end of his life, with limited success.

Naah he eye gouges, pressure points, elbows behind play and chicken wings and in 5 years at Carlton he has bought your team from 16th to what? Stuff all success and wasted 6 million dollars on him.

Why not ask Joseph how he recovered from the concussion he supposedly got last week?
