Chris Judd - The Crime and the Punishment - 4 Weeks

Was it anything like this "man of contradictions" piece?

Shameless image makeover. Similar was attempted for Dick Pratt towards the end of his life, with limited success.

What a way to slide down in my estimations Ron. Clearly public figures have aspects to their lives Jo Public has no inkling of. Pratt for example has dozens of stories surrounding how his generosity saved someone or some such. As the article you mention highlights, Judd also does some pretty good things away from football - probably more good than most of the BF nuffies trying to sink a boot in. I'd say the hysteria of BF is far, far more shameless than anything that article touched on.

What a cute, primary school type response. It's like you don't even understand the comment. LOL
I understand the nuffy was suggesting that because Adams will play today............probably with his shoulder strapped, possibly using painkillers as he did in the second half last week....that therefore Judd's dog act last week was supposedly trivial.

Do you think that was a stupid suggestion? Or do you endorse his suggestion?

Why not ask Joseph how he recovered from the concussion he supposedly got last week?
Or, alternatively, one could ask Joseph's attending physician, Dr Brayshaw.

Joseph didn't appear to be suffering any ill-effects in last night's game. Spudded it up, as usual.
A miraculous recovery from the determination of clinical death by Dr James "Quincy" Brayshaw, M.E.

Really? What alternative interpretation do you put on the post that I replied to?

You swing each perspective to its extreme - "dog act - trivial". Being so emotionally charged and losing the balance of what's actually being said is probably why you missed the blokes point like you did.

Causing injury to Adams shoulder was a significant component of the vitriol thrown Judd's way this last week. I've even seen the term "wrenched out of it's socket" applied to Judd's actions. To note how Adams lining up to play this weekend is not all that congruent with the trash-talk is a poignant comment. Does that mean it trivializes Judd's actions? Of course not; that's just you being totally strange.

I think you'll find that most of the vitriol directed at Judd was based on him deliberately grabbing a defenceless opponent's arm in an action that had the potential to cause serious injury. The fact that Adams writhed on the ground in obvious pain, then spent 10 minutes in the rooms being treated (including a pain-killing jab) suggested that he probably did cause some pain and injury. It was a dog act, whether Adams plays this week or not.

Or do you buy the line that he was simply trying to prevent Adams getting a handpass away?

I don't need to find anything mate. I'm a Blues supporter. The vitriol directed at Judd has gone through me as a supporter and I am very well placed to inform you of how it played out. Same for the posters whose comment you didn't understand. And now all you're doing is outlining why you haven't understood the comment.

Not much more to be said. Your acceptance of the fact really isn't required, I'm just explaining to you why the poster made his comment and what it actually meant, given you didn't seem to know.

That might be a reference to his striking charge (while at WCE) against Steven Baker.

LMAO! Yeah sure. Might be this, might be that. We both know what it actually refers to though. It's the same sequential pattern I've been seeing for the past week. And its emotion skews the truth to the point the bloke's almost lying through his teeth. I know you can see this for yourself, even if you don't want to admit it.

You're right on one thing : I don't know what you're on about.

But that's not because I can't comprehend English.

Catswin referred to 'elbows behind play', you scoffed at that......I'm aware of an incident where Judd (at WCE) was reported (suspended?) for an elbow thrown at Baker. More recently, he was somehow let off for throwing an elbow at Pavlich. Maybe he was referring to the Baker incident, maybe the Pavlich one.

Or perhaps you'll tell me you know I was referring to something else, because.........well, you just somehow seem to know these things.

Highly unlikely Catswin was referring to the Baker incident, highly probable he was referring to the Pav incident. The give away of course was the chronological ordering of events. I've seen the same blow-by-blow in articles, video footage and BF posts over the last week. But I get it, you'd argue the Pope is not Catholic at this point.

And FWIW Judd didn't throw an elbow at Pavlich. That's just you being emotional again.

Turn it Up.

I'm sure the majority of the Public with $6M+ to their name would do more good in the community than Judas the Master Torcherer.

ok, he caressed Pav's cheek with his elbow, hard enough to draw blood but not hard enough to warrant a charge. Happy?

Thought the tribuneral stuff affected North today, should of won by more but a few of the guys were fatigued by the goings on of the week.

What a ridiculous post. Only yourselves to blame in any case.
Adams played a great game but was obviously duressed by the illegal Judd shenanigans, props to the kid for grinding it out, as well as that the senior group were obviously shackled by the stress of the week, it was only in the last that Drew emerged from the torpor and won it for us.
