Who on earth has any idea what Boris, or Scarlo, or CS actually do?
None of us.
These posts that recur are worse now because there is so little to talk about.
It makes for unboring reading but the factual content must be close to miniscule in most cases.

Best post of the year. Finally some sanity and clarity.
Amen.

^and this is your whole argument to justify their lack of accountability for complacency. To assume that we don't know what we are talking about only adds to the ignorance that keeps this to and fro going. The recent articles about Scott's shortcomings only strengthens our argument but you guys refuse to acknowledge that in favor of blind faith!

and yet you keep finding the words to say these same things over and over. Mediocrity is a symptom of complacency! You can't debunk my argument about complacency setting in now but you will argue that it's being addressed and that we should renew our faith in Chris Scott. He should have been sacked years ago imo!

The facts are vast over at least the past few years to pick from if you were to follow the trends and inconsistencies in form but people ignorantly don't add them up over those periods and patches to notice the inconsistencies that warrant change. Most supporters are forgiving coz they too shallow/disengaged to use some insight but I don't doubt that the people that follow the form closely are on my side! #ScottNeedsToGo!

There's no need to....questions over why a back man is coaching the (dysfunctional) forwards are all over the place.
Ahh yes I had noticed some stir over that but I fully support Scarlo and Enright in their roles. Enright was my favorite player in the leadup to the Cat's drought breaking flag! I used to tell my friends whom were also Cats supporters that he was going to be a star and they used to laugh at me! LOL Yeah it sux being me sometimes!

Umm ...and then when they did actually beat us it was when it mattered most. Sorry guys but we have got to wear that! 2013 the Cats had their chance to cap off that rivalry with a tale that they would have made a movie about but we choked in the last qtr; Lest we forget! #ScottNeedsToGo!
So you made your own hashtag about scott. How cute.

Living in your head rent free.

No argument, just personal attacks. See and this is all you got, at least I got a brain! I made that hashtag so that instead of arguing over the same BS for the sake of the ignorant, I could just refer you to the # but you would realise that if you thought about it for just a moment before making that sort of stupid comment.

I think you might have had too much Christmas pudding.

This whole thread is arguing over the same bullshit. Like somehow the more you complain, the more likely it is scott is going to be sacked.

Like it or not, we are stuck with him for at least a few more years. No matter how poorly we perform, he won’t be sacked. Not until at least the last year of his contract anyway.

I'm one of those people someone could name.
But I agree, I wouldn't have a clue what either of them do.
My problem is constantly recruiting from within and not bringing in fresh ideas.
I've been complaining about it since before Boris even retired.
At least Scarlett went out and coached on his own before he came back. That's something.
I have wanted us to bring in an experienced assistant from a successful club for ages.
I just want us to be the best we can be.

This is what you do, just fill the thread up with trite! Where's your argument? Same shit over and over to bury my argument amongst BS! This is why I made a #!

Stuck with him" is a very apt choice of words
What a schamozzle

Yep. That's why I don't see any problem questioning things.
Or don't have a problem with people opposing anything I say.
No-one knows for sure.
Shouldn't be any angst about questioning the coaches though. Most of it seems pretty reasonable to me.

Maybe, but there are limitations on footy department spend too. Perhaps we didn't have the money to bring the best in, who knows?

I think his argument was that it is pointless trying to get him sacked now, so please don't incessantly bang on about it now. Put it on hold for at least two years, not many footy clubs would sack him when we have just recontracted him, least of all Geelong.

Again, NO Argument yet you make like I am 'banging on' when that is exactly what you guys are doing as a collective but I'm going easy on you coz you aren't much of a challenge here, just waste of thread space tbh!
And readers if you wanna bypass all this tripe and get to the meat and bones of the argument on this thread then goto hashtag:ScottNeedsToGo ...or you can click the ^link^ in one of me previous posts>>>You're welcome!

This is the point: since we don't exactly what goes on in the coaching circle, it is hard to pinpoint blame to specific people.
Except Scott, or course. As the head coach he must take responsibility for our poor performances as well as our good.

I agree having a senior assistant from another club would be nice. Boris and Scarlett will always be club legends, but we kind of found success going with a coach from outside in Scott's first years then we went away from that (Matthew Knights doesn't count).

Hey matey, I was just trying to answer your question.

Take a deep breath and relax.

Im pretty sure our assistants had contracts for next year so there was no plan to change them before our finals debacle. Let’s see what happens next year when they come out of contract. Hopefully we do go after one of the better assistants from elsewhere.

Complacency? Disagree
Mediocrity? Our list, yes.
CS S &W? S > W. Yes he is human. With all his knowledge and experience of the past nearly 9 years, he is the best credentialled to lead us to 2022
