Difference between looking disinterested and being injured or just past it or not up to it. If you are still waving the flag for Yarran after being at the ground last night all the best in your recovery.

We're talking about guys that look interested and don't sulk right?

I'll give you 6 of those above.

Jameson hasn't looked interested in football for abut 4 seasons.
I also disagreed with Jamison but you singled him out because he was the only possible exception to that list. Or by all means name the other 10...

Credit where credits due, we're not totally devoid of players that give a ****

I'm not waving the flag for him... i'm frustrated too. All im saying is that 80% of our list doesn't ever appear to really want to be out there.

I only singled Jamo out because he's been doing it for a while, not just this season. Sometimes its just personality, but Yarran doesn't get that excuse, so neither should Jamo. And one is a leader apparently? (i may be wrong).

No we aren't devoid of guys that care... most of the young guys do, but even that will run out if someone doesn't start motivating them. At the moment they are just happy to be there.

Disagree - particularly post MM. I just don't see the same soft, gutless, criminal waste of a skillset from any other player the way I continually see it from Yarran.

Thats just beacuse everyone expects magic when he touches the ball. Don't get me wrong, i'd love to watch him take guys on a bit more... or even kick it forward a couple times a game. Last match i went to every time he got the ball theres nothing but a bunch of stunned mullets walking around in circles 50 metres up the ground.

Long story short... he's just a reflection of the feeling around the entire club right now from what i can see. And he doesn't hide it well.

Was waiting for the time when it became everyone else's fault. Last night is indicative of where he is at - embarrassing non-efforts and squibbs that made the people around me from both clubs shake their heads and just laugh. Expect magic? How about effort?

Is it not true though? There's a reason why the entire team was chipping backwards half the night last night. How many years has it been since we could reliably get the ball out of the back half?

One player isn't responsible for this teams current position.

Being a bottom side makes everyone look bad.

I'm not discussing the one player responsible for our malaise - what a spurious suggestion. I'm discussing Chris Yarran in the context of his potential, his past performances, his current situation, his level of effort and his future in the game. I hope it isn't with the club I follow.

A quote from today's HUN.
"Carlton will only trade Chris Yarran in the event of a sweetheart deal, not scared off by his free agency status next year. The theory is that even if Yarran did decide to walk Carlton is likely to be a bottom 6 side next year. It would mean they would accept an exceptional free agency compensation in the mould of Melbourne's James Frawley this year. He has a close relationship with coach John Barker , with the pair working weekly on turning Yarran into a team-first player with fewer brain fades."

In other words, clubs who think they can get him on the cheap can get lost.

I have loved Yarran from the day we drafted him... I think I may have fallen out of love. I was hoping he could be redeemed but hope is fast fading.

Chris Yarran, The sky is the limit! (at another club)

Saw Yazz out and about last night.

Getting rejected from places and trying to fight anyone within a 10m radius. Saw a bloke offer to share his cab with him and he tried to blue him.

Is a flog and has issues I think.

Omg that's really disappointing. Grow up Yaz!

Yarran has let the Club down because he was a leader in rebound of HBF - the general and now he is almost saying - "well here ya go I can play better than you hacks at half pace"...almost as if his opposition is his own team/Club...worse than that is his attitude regarding defense - as if to say - "well this game is goneski - why bother?"

This is a classic example of a young man with superior ability playing or contributing 'conditionally' and on his terms..he is dictating to his team mates that "I will d as I like when I like and you can like it or lump it.."

People had a go at me when I suggested his laughing and joking as soon as bell went with his 'mate' from freo was a bad sign - well if you think it is ok to carry on like that after getting thumped and having a shit game yourself - then you have no pride and less care for your Club and supporters...it is a really bad look and in a strong Club would see you out the door into VFL or worse...

almost as disappointing as Henderson...who has half the talent but knows better and is still running around softly and at half pace...

Looking a lot like a Mr Fevola situation ....

A lot of coaches wouldn't be playing either right now- but I guess the list is so diminished by injury and so short of experience that we have to wear such embarrassments for the remainder of the year..

Cop it sweet as they say for a while.
