FMD, just checked
Coles $250 gift Card
  • 57 x $4.48 = $255.36 payment
  • $12 x delivery fee
  • assume card has activation fee $5 ?

  • so you pay, $267.36, and get approx. $245
Which, ironically, is if you then took $245 to Coles, you would still get more than $260 worth of spending at Chrisco:

You're paying a tad over $10 a kilo for baked beans and tinned spaghetti

$6.31 a kilo

Crico would be purchasing it for cheaper than Coles would be, too, meaning that they could pass on some of the costs.

Putting aside who in their right mind would purchase a defibrillator on Chrisco:

Chrisco are still charging a 13% premium on a defribilator:

And imagine having the fact that you've taken a majority (if not all) of the money for something that could quite literally and directly save someone's life, in advance, yet you haven't given them the product that could save their life, on your conscience.

No words.

You're not doing it right. It's $710 cough per month cough vs $4995. Clear saving, there.

Sadly, recent posts are merely about utter confusion how to use the internet or reset a password, vague discussions about whether a hamper type is "worth it" (note: none of it is), and sadly, people proudly posting about the fact that they've ordered Mastercard pre-paid cards. In other words, their own money. On a card. That they've paid in advance and Chrisco can get interest on. While charging you a 5% fee for the benefit of doing so.

I'm still waiting for the day that Crico does Crico gift cards. Pay in advance for gift cards that you can use for next year, where you can buy more Crico gift cards from next year's catalogue!
I baited yesterday to try and see how much people are spending. Got a lady that showed her 26k screenshot!!

Thing is Coles and Safeway often have discounts on Giftcards throughout the year. Often up to 25 percent off.

Just a bit of better money management and you can save heaps.
