I disagree with the headline I don't think a fiction based story of claremont needs to be told at all.I still take this case all kinds of personal. I Think BRE is simply scum.

Yeh it's turned me off so I won't mark any time to put away for sitting down and watching it. If I'm around, I might or might not check in.

It's a bit urgh.

Seems a bit soon and no consideration for family or friends of the victims. The Spiers family live it every day.

Agree, too soon I think. Somewhere, I saw that Channel 7 said it was made with respect to the Spiers family. While I have never been and hope I never am the mother of a missing presumed murdered child, I don't think I'd buy that because a fictionalised account doesn't seem real respectful.

How accurate or dramatised is this show?

It's definitely not doccy style, they left quite a lot out and toned BRE down romping around Huntingdale in a kimono looking ridiculous paired with calf length white socks pulled up tight and red slippers.

EDIT: Although his attire did look a bit clownish so I wonder if it was a nod to his facebook profile pic

What was interesting considering, was within the first half hour or so, attention was drawn by Macro detectives to the Karrakatta rape where a security guard had noticed a Telstra van. This female detective then suggested the KK rape victim was a living witness with the boss dismissing the idea.

I'd like to know if there was at some point, a female detective on MACRO because when I looked in to it a few years ago, there wasn't.

The Director maybe just stereotyping the character in a women always being right.

Watched it last night and was very disappointed at how 'low budget' it was. Seemed like a half a$$ed attempt to rake in the money. Although i also felt it was actually respectful to the families and girls, thank goodness. And I was grateful that it did not show the girls in their final and resting moments.

Are they going to show the false allegations at an innocent man for many years and the absolute lack of focus on finding the real killer, which they never apologised and made the press aware of him before the real killer fell into thier lap?

I didn’t watch the show, but why was a child actor cast as a young BRE? Have those scenes been shown yet? Because I thought that there wasn’t much info regarding BRE’s childhood that is known.

According to the Post Newspaper today, there's a 3rd Edition out.

What made Jane Rimmer laugh

'Mystery Man was a child when he first met the editor and wanted to explain why he had remained silent for so long. He said he had last seen Jane 10 years earlier at her home in Shenton Park.'

Bret needs to issue a 2nd edition of this article and this week's post newspaper to correct the above typo.

It probably should say
Mystery Man was a child when he first met Jane Rimmer.

Makes some kind of sense. Brett also states that if the CCTV had been released earlier, he would have come forward then.

Well, a lot of us got if half right at least. They knew each other.

Has Mystery Man talked to Seven West Media?

Or is Seven West Media nicking their content from the Post Newspapers (Bret Christian owned)?

Maybe there is more than one person claiming to be Mystery Man.
"Mystery Men"

Maybe a big payday for Mystery Man if he wants to monetise his story.

Seeing as how Bret Revealed this in July 2022 in the 2nd Edition of his Stalking Claremont Book
See here, it took a long time for the West, or anywhere else on MSM to publish any info on this.

The West are just jumping on board after The Post article

Useless pathetic journos

Mostly The West didn't report during the latter investigations.

The Post was the only one reporting and Bret had insider knowledge

Bret posted FIRST always

It's pleasing that this issue appears to have been sorted out. Obviously you good people over there must trust that journalist to have checked out MM's story before "clearing him".

One of the UK's gutter press rags, "The Daily Mail", featured Kimdella's "Bogsy" story last year:
