With the Karrakatta link, does that rule out Julie Cutler being linked to CSK?

The Karrakatta attack now seems more likely to be one of the first attacks.
 
Articles from West Australian back in the day. Hopefully they don't mind me re-posting, but all credit must go to them.

They make mention of a blonde man with shoulder length hair hanging around Claremont offering lifts to women, including one the night before CG disappeared. This woman who was approached the night before CG mentions that this same blonde man looks like the person who was seen talking to JR on security footage. Police also have video of unidentified blonde man in Claremont hotel on night CG disappeared. He was apparently stating that his father was a policeman.

The Karakatta rapist allegedly had brown shoulder length hair. Also make mention of items of clothing and shoes found at site where JR was found (that did not belong to Jane). Another user has speculated that the clothing may have belonged to the Karrakatta victim or to SS.

Very well put my good man. And probably 3/4 of those posts are about whether there is DNA or not. Interesting stuff.

And if I remember correctly tried to bait me to see how much we had put together X. Then when I called him on his story of having someone on the inside he named me and gave my location and all and I have kids. Then we worked it all out to the last little star on the I.... I have arms that reach far. NOT SCARED WEAK MICE.

Posters who cant comprehend the rules of this thread will be dealt with accordingly. I dont care about the discussion regarding how plausible the theories are but there wont be any digression to gutter standards

Really interesting Billy.

The articles suggest the Karrakatta victim did see the CSK.

Shoulder length brown hair, 183cm. That is pretty similar to the guy in the JR video - the only person not identified.

Also wonder if they identified the guy in the video from night CG.

1. List of all registered panel vans in Perth from 1995.

Work through each owner in a process of elimination. Might not get the CSK but it also could.

g'day billywizz just noticed nobody yet has made the connection .between lisa marie mott who went missing from collie in 1980; last seen talking to a person in a yellow panelvan and the the girl who escaped her attacker at the cemetry. she said she was bundled in to the back off a light coloured PANELVAN. when i was growing up in freo in the 80,s your car was your identity panelvan surfer utes country bumpkins monaro,gts e.t.c rev heads sports cars play boys now just about every surfer i new had blond hair ,dyed or bleached from the sun and the majority had panelvans, wasnt a blond guy hanging around offering lifts to women around the time the 3 women went missing.lets say hes the man were looking for say he was 20 when lisa mott went missing it would make him 55 now so 20yrs ago he would off been 35 still capable off blitz attacks. in my opinion this man has been at this for a long time he is smarter than any one could imagine this is a fact because he kills right under every bodys nose

MM is a lone wolf, roaming Claremont after the bars have closed. MM is the only person who hasn't come forward or been identified from the video which is pretty suspicious, you'd think that someone who spoke to Jane Rimmer on the night she vanished would contact police and say ''I saw JR outside the Conti" etc.

MM fits the description, behaviour and has never come forward.

Could well be the CSK

I've got a strong feeling we'll eventually find out that Mark Dixie/Shane Turner is responsible for the Claremont killings along with the Karrakatta Cemetery rape which we now know about. Here's some of my thinking:

a) It is widely believed that he lived in the area at the time of the killings and the murders began shortly after he arrived in Australia.

b) He would have been in his mid 20s at the time the girls were killed making it plausible that he was known to his victims and that they were comfortable to get into a car with him.

b) Photos of him bear striking similarities to the minimal image we CAN see of the "mystery man" from behind in the CCTV footage, particularly as he was skinnier when he was younger. See: hair colour, shape and style, distance between ears and hair line, body type, shape of shoulders.

c) A man by the name of Craig was working as a bouncer at the Cottesloe Hotel on the same night Sarah Spiers went missing (where she and Jane Rimmer both started their night out) and is certain he remembers Mark Dixie working there as a chef at the time.

d) He has gotten away with serious crimes before committed years ago before (i.e attempted murder and rape of Thai student in Leederville, Perth and Spain rapes).

e) He's had 5 different names, something you would expect from a frequently travelling criminal. How he was able to do the paperwork to attain these new names is beyond me. We know now that he has been convicted of serious crimes in at least Australia, Spain and the UK. This guy knows how to slip through the cracks.

f) He hasn't been ruled out based on a DNA match as there wasn't any on the girls' bodies. Police have only said it is "unlikely" that he was in Perth when Sarah Spiers was killed. They don't know for sure. It has been said that Dixie was known to have been in Perth in March 1996 (3 months after Sarah was killed). Again, he's had at least 5 different names. I can imagine it would be hard to keep track of this lunatic's whereabouts.

g) He had his first conviction (violent sexual assault) at age 16, meaning it wouldn't be unreasonable to think he'd be capable of murdering Julie Cutler at age 17 in 1988. However, he only first moved to Australia in 1993.

h) Apparently the girls were killed in a very similar way to how Sally Anne Bowman was killed. The Leederville rape conviction also bears uncanny similarities (stabbing and rape while the victim is unconscious).

Can anyone else see the resemblance between pictures of Dixie (particularly when he was younger) and the CCTV footage?

b) it's very unlikely he knew all 3 girls. Even though he was local i doubt he moved in the same circles and doubt he had opportunities to keet them in his capacity as a chef.

b) Dixie has wavy hair. MM has straight hair. Unlikely they are same person.

c) This is one random persons comment. Unreliable and much more likely the police's view is correct

h) Simply nit true. Bowman sustained a frenzied knife attack. The CSK victims didn't. All evidence piints it to not being Dixie.

Well since they have DNA linkage they have obviously counted out a lot of POI`s as the CSK. That includes Judoman on WS. He is often spoken about there atm. So the plod haven`t even come across the csk it seems. I did ask of a lot of names & was told they were all eliminated. My guess he left Australia. Dixie it seems has been ruled out too.

Dixie was questioned in regards to the Spanish attacks and confessed.

Dixie has curly hair.

He was questioned on CSK but didn't confess - but not sure if that relates to the Spanish confession or not.

And wasn't Dixie ruled out through DNA?

I did Google it and all i could see was mentions of a forensic link which i understand is not necessarily the same as a DNA link.

Is it possible that there isn't in fact a DNA link?
 
I'm quite confident that I have transcripts of a private convo where a regular poster on another forum told me his "friend" was MM and had spoke to police etc and they were settled on that matter. Would mean digging out a usb but I'm pretty sure I got the details correct or very close.
