What has me confused is if we were in the same situation now with say Teague as coach the media would be imploring us to poach Clarko. Why is everyone trying to push him out?

From the outside looking in I don’t think he’s lost the players. If he wants to leave I will back him up. He’s a legend of this club. But not sure in the eagerness of some to push him out and play with a shiny new toy.

It all depends on Mitchell though whether he feels ready to take on that responsibility or not. I think Mitchell is invested in the club, I don’t know if I’m reading too much into it, but for a player like Dimma to sign a new deal, surely he’s been told about the future plan which encouraged him to stay.
