Just finished season 3, so awesome, best show!!!

It’s up there as one of the best shows I have watched in the last few years IMO.

I reckon Season 4 is shaping up to be the final season. John Kreese and that phone call.... so exciting.

Reckon Terry Silver

It hit me like a ton of bricks. It didn’t throughout the episode but then after the phone call I remember back to their backstory.

I guess it wasn’t just a lie.

KK III ends up being the forgotten one, but as soon as the war flashbacks included Terry Silver, I was hoping the storyline would ultimately lead to his introduction. Thomas Ian Griffith who played Terry Silver is an accomplished martial artist so it would be great if they could get him in some fight scenes.

William Zabka (Johnny) stuck with karate as well. Having those two square off would be pretty good. I hope that Mike Barnes shows up as well, I am sure he will.

I really enjoyed the adult interactions this season and how they didn’t have needless drama for the sake of it
Ali and Kumiko show up but they didn’t have Daniel fall in either one of them all over again or have Johnny ruin what he has started with Carmen, different writers could have gone that way.

“ According to issue 1226 of ProductionWeekly, we now have firm dates as to when the series will begin filming. It lists that Cobra Kai season four is currently due to start filming on January 20th, 2021 and run through April 15th, 2021.”

That would be so good. Although if we are thinking that we will see season 4 this year, I read somewhere that season 3 had completed filming in 2019.

I had to Google to check if they got the same actress who played the little girl in Karate Kid II for episode 5 and they did. She was in some things here and there in the last 35 years but wouldn’t consider her a career actress that’s for sure. Pretty cool they got her to come back for a scene this season.

And that little girl ending up as an executive for Doyona, helping save Daniel's car dealership. What are the odds? No, seriously, what are the f&%*ing odds?

And Johnny scouting a new dojo...

JOHNNY: So you're telling me this place is free. No strings attached. I can do karate here?
GUY: You can do whatever you want. It's a public park. Can I get back to my family now? :D

Probably the weakest of the 3 seasons but still clearly a cobra kai And good addition to the series setting it up for a big season 4.

comedy was a bit flat earlier on but picked up as the season went. Plenty of touching moments. Japan scenes done very well. Last 4 episodes were great.

the dojo wars went over the top but they kind of had to.

teen romance angle kept at a minimum this season which was great.

where the f*** was aisha and stingray?

The season ended without as much complexity as last season but still great.

Hope the Johnny and Daniel rivalry isn’t gone forever, the best moments are still when they are being petty toward each other.

Thought the pony tail guy in Vietnam was Terry Silver, then he got killed and I assumed they were just playing a trick on us and wouldn’t introduce that plot point this season. Guess not.

So is Bobby, the not a priest. Need more of him.

Aisha was told apparently that they couldn’t find a place for her character this year, Stingray not sure... maybe realistic writing, but also he wasn’t well received by a lot of fans. I loved him.

Tbh I would have preferred if
Johnny and Ali did hook up. Johnny’s ability to finally have the things he wants but they are conflicting against one another and everybody ends up worse off is one of the things of the show. He finally finds romance with Carmen and Ali comes back, newly single. I guess it took conviction to not go down that path but I do hope we revisit it in the future.
