And that little girl ending up as an executive for Doyona, helping save Daniel's car dealership. What are the odds? No, seriously, what are the f&%*ing odds?

And Johnny scouting a new dojo...

JOHNNY: So you're telling me this place is free. No strings attached. I can do karate here?
GUY: You can do whatever you want. It's a public park. Can I get back to my family now? :D

True, it was far fetched as ****. But to move the story along and not have that drag out, it was a good way of moving that along.

Such a funny, quotable show. Johnny headbutting the napkin dispenser and bleeding pretty severe was so funny.

Probably the weakest of the 3 seasons but still clearly a cobra kai And good addition to the series setting it up for a big season 4.

comedy was a bit flat earlier on but picked up as the season went. Plenty of touching moments. Japan scenes done very well. Last 4 episodes were great.

the dojo wars went over the top but they kind of had to.

teen romance angle kept at a minimum this season which was great.

where the f*** was aisha and stingray?

Aisha is written off as having moved cities and Stringray was jailed for his role in the school fight...

Ali

The dinner table scene was quite amusing Ali telling stories of Johnny and Daniel when they were in high school and embarrassing them in front of Amanda

Ali - "lets hope our kids are move evolved than we were"

nek minute Daniels' place is getting trashed with the kids fighting :tearsofjoy:

Yeah, that was such a good scene. That scene proves this picture right.

Hopefully they keep exploring Kreese, there's more to do there I reckon.

And if they can turn one of the most comical villains ever in Terry Silver in to a more than one dimensional character, holy shit.

Aisha was told apparently that they couldn’t find a place for her character this year, Stingray not sure... maybe realistic writing, but also he wasn’t well received by a lot of fans. I loved him.

Pretty weak that they cant find a spot for her. In real life people dont just disapear cos they couldnt fit in with the narrative.

The very least they should of had her saving good bye and the emotional reaction of being tood she had to leave school and cobra kai. She couod of then turned up at the end for the new dojo.

stingray was a good addition. Helped lighten up the tension. Bad call to get rid of him.

Yeah terrible call, I thought Aisha was a great character, one of the original Cobra's, more reasonable like Miguel, and had her relationship with Sam and Tory that was complicated. Apparently she wasn't in the final scene at the dojo in season 2 after Kreese took over, so it may have been intentional.

I thought it was interesting how Johnny started in season one looking for adults to teach, then in season two he doesn't want to teach Stingray as he's too old. Stingray was a good self aware character, kinda like how Amanda and Dimitri were, but now they've also gone balls deep in to the plot, there's no more characters left to speak to the audience.

I don't like how the show has moved away from Cobra Kai being the protagonists... or at least not the antagonists. An ideal ending would be Kreese leaving, and handing Cobra Kai back to Johnny so he can continue where he left off in season 2. Eagle Fang is funny for a few eps but not what I want to see moving forward.

John Kreese is now the best and most interesting character in a show full of em.

Amazing to think Martin Kove is 76 years old. Much fitter than most blokes half his age I dare say.

Pretty fashionable fella too. When he confronts Johnny in the park in his designer sunnies and long jacket, he's not a bum no more.

Yeah they clearly havnt finished the backstory scenes. It hasnt been tied up to the present sufficiently yet.

Yeah I think the death of his girlfriend/sweetheart whilst he was off fighting and being tortured in Vietnam, must have really messed up with Kreese's head (who clearly had suffered PTSD by this point)

I am not sure how many more seasons they can run with the series though, thinking one or two tops. I really do not want Cobra Kai overstay it's welcome like Game of Thrones did. And they have probably gotten the most out of the Miyagi and Daniel relationship off screen.

I think 5 seasons would be perfect anymore than that and people will start to lose interest

Big Bang Theory went for too many seasons i stopped watching BBT after season 4

How confident must the captain have been that he was going to win that fight that he revealed what happened? That shit was ****ed up lol.

Agreed, but what annoys me is reading comments elsewhere (especially Twitter) that what happened with Kreese and his Captain and how he mocked the death of his sweetheart in a car crash does not excuse the actions and behaviour of JK afterwards.

Not saying or condoning Kreese's behaviour at all, but Sheesh, he did go through some extreme soul destroying experiences. And it's understandable that he would turn out to be the ruthless prick that he ended up becoming.

I know, that scene just shows how ruthless he had become, considering he wasn’t a horrible person at the beginning of his backstory. I mean, holy shit.

A while ago everyone seemed to say the writers have four seasons mapped out but recently there's been articles suggesting 6 now.

They seem to have great success at bringing back characters, I guess there's still KK4 to possibly work with, if season four works through KK3 and those characters, but I heard the Terry Silver guy had retired...

The writers have already said that all four films that Miyagi was in will be canon to Cobra Kai. Imagine all the bad guys running one dojo (Kreese, Silver, Barnes, Colonel Dugan (from KK4) and Daniel, Johnny and Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank) running the other. So many possibilities and so many different rivalries they could explore.

And FWIW, I could definitely see Mike Barnes being a total campaigner still after all these years, unlike
Chozen
.
