My predictions for Part II is that Miguel will win the Sekai Taikai and defeat Kwon, leading to Kwon losing his honor.

I think Part III will mirror Karate Kid II, with Kwon possibly challenging a "fight to the death" with Miguel in Part III.
Part II will clearly be about the Sekai Taikai tournament. I dont care for much who wins. It will be entertaining.

I would like Part III to be about Johnny-Daniel going full circle that something happens that leads to them hating each other again, that leads to an epic street karate match between the two of them for the finale.

I highly doubt that Johnny and Daniel will fight again. However, I wouldnt rule out Kreese vs Silver.

Part III will heavily focus on completing story lines and giving each character a meaningful closure.

I wonder if Julie (Hilary Swank) will be a judge at the sakai taikai or an official then in that capacity she can explain Miyagis history to Daniel.
I read a theory that the guy Miyagi started the gym with would be Swanks characters grandfather who served with Miyagi in the war. Seems plausible.

Rumour has it, he may appear in the Finale series as Tory's dad.
No he won't.

Has continually denied he'll be in the show, and also Johnny would know if his friend has a kid. If you pause when Johnny is writing his giant message to Ali in season three he talks about how him and Dutch hang out.

My original thoughts were that series 5 was the perfect ending. I tried giving season 6 a go last night and haven't changed my mind. Gave up after one episode. The show feels like it's gone too long, gotten overly lame and lost its magic.

I dont care what happens to any of them. I'm not sure why Kreese always comes back as he's regularly made to look stupid in the movies and Cobra Kai. It's like a cartoon where the same bad guy loses every episode.

Fair call, although I think this is the final season anyway so it’s not too bad, the show is silly enough to get away with dragging on a season or two too long imo, wouldn’t say it really diminishes the show as a whole

In defence of s6, if all the episodes dropped in one hit as was the case previously, we probably would have excused the quality of the first part of s6.

As much as I love Cobra Kai, there are many episode arcs of each season that are not as entertaining, but get washed away with a solid middle and good end to each season.

This show definitely could not survive in yesteryear where the ratings of each episode dictated the future of the series as a whole.

Another reason they should have another season after this to wind up the show.

It would only be an extra five episodes if there was a season six and seven.

The show has been working off one season renewals for a while now and I think that's why the two recent seasons have been bad. Cramming too much in and doing endings that reek of 'trying to wind things up but also leaving the door open for more'.

Netflix reveals first look at Cobra Kai’s "ultimate battle" in season 6 part 2

Yes and No.

Daniel Larusso is there, but thats it. No other connection to Cobra Kai universe, as far as I know.
The one character any future franchise could do without. Johnny Lawrence has at least shown signs of maturing and learning from mistakes. Even in season 6 of Cobra Kai, Daniel is still essentially the same person he was in the original franchise, apart from his stuff being nowhere near as "endearing" in his 50s as it was in his teens.

It was probably a marketing decision, Ralph was a better sale than William for a movie.

I wouldnt necessarily rule out Johnny's character returning in future movies if there is a sequel.

I mean who knows? He may do a cameo?

I have no doubt if Mr Miyagi was still with us, he would be bitterly disappointed with Daniel and his lack of actual human progression and development as an adult, and would be insulted Daniel named his Mojo after him.

I am not sure it was a deliberate choice or not on the writers of Cobra Kai to make the much flawed and previously broke. Johnny Lawrence the main good guy of Cobra Kai, but I applaud that narrative decision

John Kreese is still my favourite and most fascinating character of the entire franchise.

And he honestly does come across as a more authentic and likeable Sensi than Saint Daniel Larusso.

Definitely need Hillary Swank in the next instalment of this series or I will be pissed

"I can't mention names but there might be one or two," Macchio, 62, teased when asked if fans might get to see some stars from the Karate Kid universe who haven't yet been seen in the spin-off series. "Or there are some [people] that have shown up in a smaller capacity that I would like to see in a larger capacity."

That and still into the 6th season he still looks like he hasn't trained in Karate at any point (and a build that makes 12 year anorexic girls jealous). Sure as (playing) a 50 something he doesn't need to look like the kids, but Zabka and even Martin Kove, at 78, look believable, enough to suspend disbelief. Macchio really makes you work to pretend he wouldn't break at the first strike from his opponent.
