what ever happened to jesse clark who used to play at otway? i played cricket with him a few seasons back is he still floating round? tommy sutherland would be a big loss, been sort of the team nucleus last few seasons with his big imposing frame...

Jess played all his Juniors there along with Mark Hogan, won a flag in 2000, then stopped playing at Otway before it moved to the CDFL. Still would be a good player if he bothered.

Round 1 is just around the corner look out gents its heating up. Any big news? recruits? Cant wait to see the opening game going to see the Bay play and to see if any of there so called gun recruits are any good at all. Will kepp everyone posted and do a match report on the game till then ALL THE BEST!!!!!

The Bay might be missing Tommy Butterworth after he was booked for rough play in Saturday's Yea v Broadford hit out. Despite this one indiscretion against former premiership team mate and current B'ford A/C Billy Neilson Tommy was by far the standout on the park and should be set for a big season
Tommy got himself a holiday too early... should have kept til race week in Warrnambool!!!!!
Have not heard enough about the other clubs to predict anything other than a Birre win. It will be interesting to see how Forrest line up though as a mate played in a practice match against them for Anglesea and said that he thought they looked slow and turned the ball over a lot..

How did big Tommy go did he get off? Can play the big fella if fit could be anything..Dont think the bay would miss him against the Eagles this week anyway will win by 15 goals..

What everyones tips for round one? I tip Hinkley to reach double figures at least 12 goals by the big fella this week. Going to watch the Bay train 2moro night will see how they are travelling.

The Bay have once again recruited well! O'Connor and Hinkley are decent pick ups and will provide something. Does anyone know if there is any truth in the rumour that Khan Beckett is suffering from hamstring soreness and is unavailable to play against his old side of Otway this week? The trainers at bomber land can't be taking as good a care of him as the lads did down in the bush. Either that or maybe its a heart muscle he's pulled.......
