dr Larkins on ch 9 just said it was just a brused abdoman and he was released from hospital last night and is ok to play next week.

I saw that as well and it is very good news. The other thing the Doc said was that Archers injury was not as bad as first thought and would probably keep him out for 4 - 6 weeks.

Our club doctor was interviewed on 774 early this afternoon and Colbert was cleared in both the blood tests and the MRI scan. He said that Colbert was still feeling a bit tender, but that he'd be doing some running by Wednesday and that he would be a very good chance to line up against Sydney.

They also had 'Metro' on Ch9 news tonight and it's looking ok. Still the COMPLACENCY  has to go with or without Colby / Arch, if we are any chance of getting anywhere this season.

Great news for Leigh and the club.

Important we have our best side on the park in the next month because I think it goes without saying how we fare in the next month will be a gauge as to how good we really are.

Great point as we have three games at Telstra dome and two at Manuka Oval. In regards to having our best side on the park is just a bonus....it's the team commitment that really counts for me... remember that we were missing Archer and Jess Sinclair in the first two weeks and were more than capable of playing accountable footy. We have better depth this season and with some hungry players wanting to push thier claims in senior spots, the pressure of keeping them is more evident.
So the question begs.....With or without Corey McK this week ??

Sydney, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs and Brisbane.

I think if any North fan was offered three of those they'd take em in a flash.

One thing we'll see in the next month is how much Shannon Watt has improved. Hall, Gherig, Rawlings and Lynch his likely opponents.

Anyone of Hale, Watson, Rocca and Clayton could all play this week. All dependant on how Dean reacts at the selection table on this weeks lacklustre performance.
