Josh Is the oldest. lol.I was talking about the Younger one and I thought you where too
Josh Is the oldest. lol.
Theres no If about it.. He is the oldest TD.I always get confused.
Then IF he is the Older one then I can understand him doing training with the Main Group
So much to like about this report that I don't know where to start!A couple of things from this morning. A beautiful day, no storms, not yet at least. I got screwed buying a coffee from the glasshouse in an Aus open cup. $5.50. The Pies had a coffee tent setup on the AAMI Park side of the ground, only $3.50 there...
Ben Reids kicking out of defensive 50. Fantastic.
Darcy Moore looked in good touch. Took a few grabs, went back and kicked the goal. Marsh looks huge. With his pace and strength, I can't see how he can be left out of the side. Seems to favour the fast, bullet stab pass, which seemed to always hit the mark.
Treloar ran for the whole session at varying pace. He hasn't joined in with the main group as everyone knows, but hours worth of running in each session won't hurt his fitness. Toward the end of the session, he went down the other end, and did some lateral movement work, and snapped a few shots at goal. He doesn't look far away.
Goldsack and Langdon ran laps. Sinclair trained fully, as did Ramsay, Tooves and Swan who were all away from the group last time I went along. Aish in the main group too, looks in good shape.
The whole group did at least 30 minutes of set shot practice at the end of the session, which was good to see.
I heard Daics being said a lot, and it took me a while to catch on that its either Nick or Josh, whoever is oldest. He's short, but looked well balanced. I watched him kicking set shots, he didn't miss one.
Yep, and I think he's gonna be a beast of a one-on-one defender as he grows into his body more and more.If Marsh keeps fit, we will have that opportunistic dash out of the back line back again.
It was Josh who is 17 and will turn 18 this year. Why would a 15/16 year old be Training with the Main Group. Though be the Older One?
Oh, and cheers, Buena - loved the report!
Nope. Under the bidding system we just have match the points. Might clean out most our picks and maybe we trade out a player to get another 2/3rd rounder to make it up. We can elevate rookies with late picks that don't have point value to meet the minimum list change.Putting this out there, what happens if Josh tears up the TAC Cup this year, another club bids their first rounder, we don't have a first rounder, do we miss out?

I don't reckon he will cost a 1st rounder but I reckon we will want Callum Brown too but you can't pick 2 F/S selections can you?
If a club has two or more nominated players it could see it go into a 'points deficit' in the following year's draft to secure them.
Sure you can. You just have to have to be able to match the points.
You can also go into deficit against the value of the next year's draft picks if need be...

Won't happen.Putting this out there, what happens if Josh tears up the TAC Cup this year, another club bids their first rounder, we don't have a first rounder, do we miss out?

We just need to bid picks that equal a first rounder.
I thought that applied to academy players but it's everyone obviously.
Won't happen.
Option A) See point system explained earlier
Option B) Goodbye Travis, nothing personal , been a wonderful servant but we have to look at the future .
Option C) Unfortunately a concussion halfway through the season will prevent him from playing and he drops out of the top picks. After which we will snap him up cheaply
