No you didn't. Navicular is a completely different injury.
Navicular fracture is very, very serious. Season ending and perhaps career ending (Matthew Egan). Calling BS, an injury that bad would be announced.

Navicular is what knocked Fasolo out for 12+ months from memory. You're right, it's not a good injury, and you'd hope that it's BS.Navicular fracture is very, very serious. Season ending and perhaps career ending (Matthew Egan). Calling BS, an injury that bad would be announced.

That'd be nice. I still wouldn't write his season off just yet. This may mean he plays a bit closer to goal when he returns, which could hopefully see an increase in goals kicked.

Reckon this injury crisis will see Buckley sacked at years end.
His inability to prevent these overuse injuries will see him told to DCM.
Ahem, I think there may be laws against the sort of thingI live in West Footscray but will be in Geelong on Friday night. After the game I'm going to follow in Taylor Adams' footsteps and take on Lambys.
They said he at LEAST be a Month away and he had this problem since the 2nd Half of last season
Yes I know. Obviously not ideal but I am glad they are taking a cautious approach. We need him up and running when the real stuff starts.
and so they shouldClub has taken the cautious lot more now then they use to
Saw Sier walking around yesterday without a worry, don't know much about navicular injuries but you're all making it sound pretty serious... so I assume if he really did have a navicular injury he wouldn't be walking around without a limp?
Hirdy had a navicular issue, what did he do?
You think his back will be 100% in a few weeks? You're dreaming
All signs point to the fact this is going to be a long term management thing. He is having a few weeks off because it flared up again. People will just laugh it off as being "negative" or "alarmist" but ongoing back issues are very concerning for a star player.
We have already seen he can't really perform with it, a stiff back dramatically impacts on anyone's sporting ability.

No player is ever 100% if you're going to be pedantic about it.
You don't say, the guy in the photo does look like a drug cheat.Had a "miraculous" recovery after meeting this bloke
An ex-body builder who has admitted to taking banned performance enhancing drugs
Knowing James, I'm sure it was all above board though
He's a Collingwood player.
The guy on the left looks a bit dodgy tooYou don't say, the guy in the photo does look like a drug cheat.
Balme said it wasn't the same injury, at least:Back is pretty serious, for it to carry on from last year is a massive concern.
Balme said it wasn't the same injury, at least:
“It is similar but not the same,” Balme said when comparing the current injury to last season’s concern. “It was a particular facet joint last year that was a bit sore. It’s in the same kind of area so obviously it’s the same kind of issue.
