@ Masked Magician how do you post a table like that?

All the Father-Son and Father-Daughter possibilities from Nick Maxwell down on your list:

This is fantastic, thank you.

But I have some bad news. The father/daughter rules are much less onerous. In fact, when the AFLW was established, the father only needed to have played one senior game for the club - yes one! - for the club to have first dibs on the daughter. Not sure if this rule has tightened up, but I think you have a lot more work to do.😁

I’m all about the free hit element of FS, but as a 90’s kid who had two reasons to go to the footy (watching Sav kick bags and Buckley getting 25 kicks) it’s about the only time I think I’ll ever buy into the emotional element. That said the lack of chatter about them is preventing me getting too excited (obviously pending Jett and the U16 or U17 champs this year). That said he’s odds on to get drafted with that birth date!
I didn’t actually see Sav play at the pies. Bucks would be be the first father son combo I’ve seen if Jett makes it.

I just want a big hulking key forward kicking goals from 50.

Hey Sco from Buckley’s mouth the chances of his boys making it are remote.

The oldest boy is more into go carting…….Bucks words “expensive sport”

What I gathered is his youngest is a footy head but not naturally gifted so he will have to fight hard to make it on his own.

It didn’t stop Tyler so who knows 🤷‍♂️
The majority of players haven't produced father/sons to date because of a combination of many only having daughters , think Lockett who had 3 girls and also many simply do not measure up to the high standards of their old folk.

Not sure the big Sav was a fan of the pies. I recall hearing he was more fond of the Roos…

Pretty sure his son gets to choose the destination, not Sav, and let’s be honest, who the fk wants to go to Norf of their own volition?

Just revisited the sav YouTube highlights. What a gun he was!! If he had an ounce of aggression he would have wiped out a lot of defenders. My wife taught his son in primary school and said Sav was the nicest guy

Choosing Norf over Pies will be the biggest insult to man!

Sav still a little standoffish about Collingwood, we can thank Salthouse for that , didn’t believe in him , Anthony on the other hand he loved , quite rightfully so , but Mick was wrong in his appraisal of Sav .

We need to get the Big Sav back at the Club…kicking & marking coach.
Screw the soft cap

I guess when you’ve been inside the machine, any lack of fondness would probably be directed at people, and can’t imagine there’d be many people associated with Collingwood today that Sav would know.

Anthony Rocca also has no love for the club after being let go as a coach.

Catch 22.
We hire ex players, then they are eventually let go (like every other employee).
Not many jobs for life in Football.
We should always hire & fire on merit.
The Soft Cap & Covid did exacerbate the situation.
Football is a business.
Not all Players/Coaches carry grudges…
Ray Shaw sacked by Hafey over the telephone…still encouraged his sons to play for Collingwood.
Neil Daniher sacked by Melbourne…still loves the Club.
It‘s up to the individual to accept the situation & move on.
As the Corleone‘s would say “It’s business…not personal”.

nb Anthony did get a fair run at Collingwood

By that measure every play that has been let go should hate the club…people take it for what it is. A player/coaches time is limited in football
He coaches a mate’s kid in Auskick and told him directly. Believe it or not.

Do you share that opinion on Buckley?
I’ve no idea what Buckley thinks. At a guess I’d say he was disappointed to have been given the arse but doubt he holds much angst towards the club.

Pretty silly for Rocca to be angry towards Collingwood... played for over a decade and had a cruisy job coaching for nearly a decade... Covid cuts came through and wiped through the soft cap... people had to be cut.

Think they Mean Sav not Anthony
