I got a message from tommy. Before people jump over him.
He said he played on limited minutes. Played 20 mins, has gastro. He's now going home to bed.
Was told just to play on limited minutes and enjoy the experience.
I love this kid already!!! The old draft tampering Gastro.
Can’t wait to see him in black and white in 2026

What’s Tommy’s go? Run all-day accumulator, burst of speed, skill etc? Like to know his standout traits. Cheers
elite skills, outside player at this stage. Run all day accumilator. Classy user and very creative. Can hit the scoreboard too.

Obviously Cavanagh doesn't know he only played 20 mins of the game and had gastro

Collingwood father-son Thomas McGuane had a quieter game for the winners, spending time across both half-forward and half-back and gathering six disposals and four marks.

THOMAS McGUANE

6 disposals, 4 marks, 2 inside-50s

A father-son prospect for Collingwood as the son of 1990 premiership player Mick, it wasn’t a huge day out for McGuane to end an impressive bottom-age season. A week after playing in a senior premiership for Keilor, the Western Jets product managed only six touches spending time across half-forward and half-back.

More footy for Eli Kravic.

The annual Indigineous/Multicultural game to be played on Wed.

Players included, Eli, Tjaegan Egan, Joshua Thomas (another NGA), along with Cooper Brancatisano

Players will engage in a range of football and athletic training sessions, as well as cultural and leadership-building activities designed to further enhance their skillset both on and off the field.

The programs will have access to facilities at Arden Street Oval, Mission Whitten Oval, Trevor Barker Beach Oval and Wesley College, while AFL players Mac Andrew, Jason Johannisen and Buku Kamis will conduct Q&A sessions during the three-day program.

The camp will conclude with two talent showcase matches on Wednesday, October 2. The matches will be played at Tony Sheehan Oval within the La Trobe University Sports Park in Bundoora.

Many players selected in the Flying Boomerangs and World Team squads will go on to feature in the Indigenous and Multicultural Academies and other talent pathways programs in future years.
The Flying Boomerangs squad features the sons and grandsons of several AFL greats, including Percy Burgoyne (son of Shaun), Zebedee Farmer (son of Jeff) and Sonni Te Moananui (grandson of Nicky Winmar).
The World Team also features several familiar names, including Mali Lual (brother of Essendon player Luamon) and Cooper Brancatisano (cousin of Gold Coast Suns player Maddy).
The Flying Boomerangs and World Team programs will be coached and mentored by a host of current and former AFL and State League players, some of whom have featured as members of the Flying Boomerangs and World Team programs in previous years.
The Flying Boomerangs coaching panel includes recently retired AFL star Chad Wingard, Collingwood forward Nathan Kreuger, former AFL players Brendon Ah Chee, Jarrod Lienert and Kyron Hayden and Lachie Edwards.
The World Team will be coached by Ali Hammad, Goy Lok, Adam Kaddour, Wally Kaddour, and Sebastian Gargana, with Port Adelaide star defender Aliir Aliir to assist as a mentor.
HOW TO WATCH: A live stream of the Flying Boomerangs and World Team matches at Tony Sheehan Oval will be available on the AFL Play YouTube channel on Wednesday. The first game will commence at 10:30am, with the second game to follow at 1:00pm.

** limited minutes it should say, but seems these reports don't know about that.

#10 Thomas McGuane (Western Jets/Vic Metro)
Forward/Midfielder | 177cm | 27/08/2007

Stats:
6 disposals, 4 marks, 2 inside 50s

One of the many club-tied prospects afield, McGuane struggled to get his hands on the ball as often as he is used to. The Collingwood father-son gun started in the forwardline and worked high up the ground, finding separation to take four marks and move the ball on with sharp decisions. He was given a run in the midfield after half time but again battled to reach his typically prolific output.

Standard of rookieme analysis has certainly dropped away
