Google says Mick is 186cm, might be hunching a bit these days, lets hope tommy has a lil grow spurt and fills out. Not the end of the world if he doesnt, josh daicos does just fine at around 178

His second stint at the pies was today, next wed, thur and friday.
Watching him today , his body has a lot of maturing to do … still small , definitely not taller than Josh D so don’t think he is 180 .. hopefully a growth spurt pushes him to his dads size

Was told that Kerr def will play at oakleigh again this year given his ACL, and Oakleigh want Luke Q to return. It's just a matter whether the AFL will approve the request or not. Time will tell.

Talking to someone involved in the draft who thinks Mcguane could go as high as top 10 this year. So if this does eventuate, we'll need to find some more points.

He had the ball on a string most weeks as a relatively undersized bottom ager in what was regarded as an extremely strong draft year. I’m shocked that he’s not in most top 10’s already, but draft watchers have this weird stupid thing about height. If he was 185cm already he’d be in everyone’s top 5, it’s ridiculous.

Height not an issue but other physical attributes will be the thing he has to overcome i reckon. Looks a natural footballer and already seems to have the work ethic and good aerobic fitness. Hope he smashes it this year.

Possibly, but he’s already demonstrated that he’s got no problems going up against bigger bodies, both in Coates league and playing against men for Keilor. And he’s still got plenty of time to put on size, even if he ends up only being around 180cm or even slightly shorter like Josh is he’ll be fine.
