Well considering the Police are looking into the matter, l'm tipping the 7 weeks will be extended for awhile longer....Hope the pr**k is charged with assault....

Clearly it was a hell of a punch but was it a king hit?
Former Melbourne and Collingwood defender Lynden Dunn will need surgery on a broken jaw after copping a sickening punch from an opponent in a local footy match, reports The Leader.
Westmeadows ruckman Ferras Mehri has copped a seven-game ban from the Essendon District Football League after striking Dunn while the West Coburg player celebrated a goal.
The second-quarter incident saw a melee break out with four of Dunn’s teammates surrounding him, and others remonstrating with Mehri.
Looks like a gutless king hit while Dunny was celebrating a goal. Imagine only getting 7 weeks for that, sounds like the bloke should be de-registered, and hopefully Dunn takes legal action, and the bloke is charged.

On a quick google Ferras Mehri doesn’t appear to be a common name. If this is the correct person I hope the blues take action and at least suspend his membership.

Next year, Macrae will breakout if he doesn't get a chance to play this season. He's a star who is a rising stock and the conditioning in the VFL will help is game and style so he's ready to burst onto the scene.
