It’s a head scratcher. I’m no fan of Leppa, mainly due to an irrational lingering hatred of the Lions in the 2000s. But while our defence wobbled at the start of the season, he had it purring by the end. And this despite the loss of several defenders across the season.
Agree. I must admit the changes make me a little nervous. Probably a hangover from those Harvey/Sanderson days hence wondering if this is a pretty standard practice across the competition. Your hatred of the Lions of the 2000s is in no way irrational by the way😀.

Pendles has stood down as captain.

Been a great captain. I assume Moore is the best option pending health.

Shame, he deserved to go past Selwood's captaincy record.
No real surprise.
He'll still provide onfield leadership anyway.
Selwood was young when he was appointed captain, whereas we had a wonderful onfield leader in Nick Maxwell, so Pendles just kept playing great footy.

Tottenham can't win silverware to save their life (always bottle it) and Harry Kane missed a penalty for England to drop out of the world cup. Hopefully Macrae doesn't bring any of that back with him.
