The word going around is they are looking to get back into the market and Pies are one of the clubs. We apparently looked into Puma but settled on Adidas.

Ive always put the talk of sav disliking the club as fan fiction, seems to me it stems from a comment he made about wanting to play 100 games for the roos so his son had options under FS which isn’t unreasonable anyway.

If we’re leaving Nike who makes awesome apparel and gear then adidas is the equal best for mine.

Fans will be happy to pay for top quality branding that looks awesome too

Actually do some Premiership merchandise.

Make Premiership jumpers rather than some tacky iron on gold logo.

The range for Aussie Rules is so basic compared to what it does for EPL and other sports. And if it's too small of a market then give to to someone who will give it the respect it deserves.

Interesting

I don’t buy a lot of merchandise, but when I went to look into getting a Premiers cap there was way way too much choice. It felt like there were a kazillion different style and colour combinations. In my mind a Premiership cap is a Premiership cap, it’s a symbol of tribalism and success, it’s not a symbol of individual expression. IMO there should only be one style / colour and the only variation should be (1) meet sizing requirements (kids, adults) and (2) year … I’m OK with the 2025 Collingwood Premiers cap looking materially different to the 2023 Collingwood Premiers cap.
