Everybody Panic has pointed out and reposted some pretty good examples of people saying players are comparable when the common denominator is race, not style or position. I find it interesting that people like yourself can’t just reflect on that and realise it’s something to be mindful of instead play the man. Everybody has prejudices, some are just more aware of them (and try to check them) than others.

And the fact that you think people should only concern themselves with issues that involve themselves tells a story in itself.

As both teams have there Best and Farist on Friday Night

Be Done Monday though alonside Hill and Posibly Frampton

the plot thickens . thats of course why we are rumoured to be trading down our first pick with hawtorn and back to brisbane
this will be a three way trade to ensure the free agents and points for picks all work to the advantage of the three clubs

but the afl are ridiculous for not announcing rule changes before trade period so teams can make the required preparations

They've been fraught for us. Was Adams a 5 yr deal? Crisp maybe. Others that haven't worked out. Our fitness and conditioning teams looking better so I hope that helps. Some of the failures were bodies not going the distance.
 
So…..I’m confused…..is DeGoey confirmed as having re-signed, or not?

They’ve discussed this on trade radio. SOS and rendell and noble. Clubs are looking at longer deals as given the TPP increase in say years 4 and 5 of a 5 year deal the $ is substantially less in % terms of the cap. There’s both risk and reward. But obviously 800k of degoeys money in 2023, will be a lot less in say 2027/28 etc.

Yep got my wires crossed on that one, what I meant to write was that Brisbane can't match an offer to a UFA.

Nor would they consider giving up potential late first or beginning of second round compo if McStay's contract numbers stack up in their weird compo formula, just to help us out with any DeGoey compo pick.
