Screw Tom Mitchell
but lets get Rhys Matheison fmd.

You have no idea, anyone that doesn't want Tom Mitchell has no idea. He literally will improve our middle by that much next year. He will make De Goey even more dangerous, Daicos/Crisp as well.
Seeking clarification on what "literally that much" means.

We should go after Tom De Koning, was playing on the fringes at Carlton. Him at full back, ruck/fwd would be so great for our structure.
That would be dream, but unlikely without including our first maybe for their second. Unlikely full stop.

I guess it could be a three club trade if Geelong are willing to give up anything realistic.

Just went through the Cats list and even before Bruhn & Henry land there they have a third of their list (15) from Geelong or the Western Vic region. Wowser.

When’s Max Holmes OOC? Surely the Sandringham boy wants to be closer to his family on the other side of the bay? SDK is a long way from his brother and from Mornington too. Let’s go hunting Pies.

Let's get both the De Koning brothers...

Very shallow draft. Ollie was mentioned during discussions on Trade Radio, Silvani and co.
That's just their opinion. Still, if we're at an impasse it would be interesting to watch. My opinion is he'd make it til 25 just because of his baggage but would be a risky move for him. Feel like GWS could use a player like him.

Why should you be rewarded if you execute a salary dump ? That's just bad management clubs have to deal with it and work they're way out of their own mess !

Except that the AFL itself had a large hand in creating this particular mess with the Suns. Increase their salary cap (and list size) and you eventually create a situation where players get overpaid, which in turn leads to restructuring and back-ending some of those overpaid players and before too long some of them need to be moved on to balance up the books again.

If we get 13, I hope we can combine it with our future first and jump up past Geelong, I know it's unlikely but how good would that be, take the player they are all over
We would need Whorethorns pick 6, they would want too much, we could offer 16+F1+Grundy compo for pick 6+Mitchell, tell the Hawks we’re doing it to **** the Cats, they might listen.

So are you valuing Mitchell at pick 8?

Retaining our future first round pick for a KPD may be a more sound strategy.

It makes sense to value a player based on the current year’s draft.
If Henry was available after what he has shown at AFL level, he probably would be a top 10 prospect. Let’s not forget he is largely de-risked having shown he can kick 4 goals in a half of AFL football against a top team. Also, he only recently turned 20. He is still a kid playing in a difficult forward position in a team that has struggled with centre bounce clearances.

I don’t think it’s any secret that the draft this year isn’t the best. GWS have that many picks it wouldn’t hurt them to use one in Ollie.
