Saying that Bruhn is worth a 1st first, but Ollie has shown more.
Both players are worth a late first.
They can't trade a future 1st given they'll have to give away their 2nd next year to GC.

They WANT to use late picks for these players, but thats not happening.
I struggle to see how these deals get done.

Unless a player comes Avalaible trade won't happen then Henry can Re-Sign for a Year or go in the Draft

Welcome back to the Pies Ollie......sign here son ➡

I wouldn't say Reef looked miles off it at all. In fact I'd say he's not that far away, maybe only a strong pre-season this year from forcing his way in.

Macrae is probably a year behind Reef in that respect.
Reef showed some signs of freakish talent
Pace and one touch skills with a big body
Hope he comes on quickly and stays fit

Henry deal should not be done unless we get a pick 12 or under. Really we should be gunning for 7.
Cats are delusional to think they are going to get Henry, bruhn keep 7 and 18.
Obviously i think they will give there future first for Bruhn.
Then turn too us play the good guys and offer us 18 which we all know is really 20.
Thats when we need to keep our nerve and tell them 7 or no deal!

My point was he’s miles off because he’s missed so much footy and even before injuries lacked a tank. He’s not ready to walk into an inside mid position, neither is macrae. Hence why I’m happy with interest in Mitchell etc. we have no ready depth.

I know I'll cop some hate for this, but I just want Ollie off our books. Don't rate him highly as a player or a person.

He wouldn't be the first to have a change of heart after a trade doesn't happen and then decides to stick with his current club - eg. Papley.

Some more success for us next year with him playing would go a long way towards that outcome.

Geelong won’t trade pick 7. They really want Jhye Clark at pick 7. Geelong Falcons boy they believe will be next Joel Selwood.
Wouldn't it be a real shame if he goes a pick beforehand.

A damn shame.

Exactly, he has chosen to leave, so PONY UP Mackie or FO and we keep him.

If Henry stays he’ll request a trade in 12 months time. I hope we get a deal done as I couldn’t handle him playing for us next year. Pick 18 seems fair.
