Who you with Dave?
Nothing wrong with the NBN.
Plenty wrong with certain isp’s who won’t buy enough bandwidth off the NBN.

OPTUS.

We have Idiots running these ISP's and Dickhead Goverment putting Stuff in that is 20 years out of Date

Mate, no doubt the NBN has been r*ped by the Libs.
But I think your issues are more to do with your isp.
Optus, like Telstra, sign people up at the lowest cost/speed possible.
Then they don’t buy enough bandwidth to service their clients at peak times.
Now the Libs stripped back my planned FTTP to FTTN.
So I’ve got 1.6 kilometres of copper from the node to the premise.
But my isp pays for bandwidth.
So I signed on a 25/5 plan, no contract, when the NBN came.
I tested speed only last week at 23/4 at 7pm (peak tine)
Happy with that.
I read an article a couple of months ago with the NBN chairman explaining the way the isp’s purchased bandwidth. He named two isp’s that we’re buying enough. Only two!
Mine was one thankfully.
I also heard on ABC radio several months ago, a woman from NBN responding to complaints up Mansfield way, that their wireless NBN was giving lower speeds than ADSL at peak times.
This poor woman could only say that an internal investigation had found the NBN wireless tower was capable of delivering more than the required bandwidth for the customer base in the area.
She couldn’t accuse the isp’s, after all they are the NBN’s clients, so the host had to ask the relevant questions to arrive at the answer.
That answer being the isp’s are greedy mongrels who don’t give a rats once they’ve got your money.
Dave, do a few speed tests, contact Optus, and demand compensation if your tests are not within 80% of what your plan says. Optus are already paying compensation on this issue.
Then find a new isp!

What would be a Good ISP for the NBN be for Mate?

Enjoyed this weeks episode. Good to see Bucks having a bit of a laugh with the boys, although I suspect he'd be bleeding on the inside taking about 9 off the tee! Quality nickname on Sam McLarty. And Wells looked pretty reasonable to me. Hardly the Michellan man he's been made out to be.

Loving The Grind. I know it varies a bit in quality, but the mix of players and themes has kept it fresh.

Good to see more of Crocker this week. Like his cheek, and also his dance moves. Gets a big tick for that.

An excellent example of the banter and humour within a footy club.
Done without being concerned about the PC Police.
You mean they won't still come out of the woodwork?

Really good Ep 5.

I'm up for some yoga.

Interesting players come in as cherubs (we'll sort of) then some veer off to get lots of ink over themselves.
But each ofcourse to their own.

Love Wells, just comes across as a decent person, and sublime skill.
Love McLarty, seems like a real decent young man.

Adams you can tell is leading within the group too.
