Felt like Harvey Harrison was good today, with Jack Madgen a solid contributor. Jack Madgen may have saved himself playing like that.

On the other hand, Will Kelly and Cooper Murley were too quiet. Isaac Chugg was back playing for Longford's U12s (his junior club) and looked so far removed from AFL football.

I love his hands out of a stoppage. Him feeding the two Daicos boys and Pendles would set this guys up massively.

For me, it was his work without the footy this week that was the big improvement. He often gets high tackle numbers but this week they seemed to be more from running down opponents clearing the stoppages rather than cheapies within the stoppages.

Madgen will most likely be delisted although sort of player you would re-draft. I actually think North should recruit him for leadership. He adds more to a 22 than what his ability suggests.

Love McMahons game today, reminds me a lot of Shane Morwood the way he plays, hopefully pumps the weights and starts to get a game. Finn better but still jury out on him for me. Poulter, enough said. Ollie, it'll click one day soon, hopefully it'll be in lack & White.

Funny but I was thinking of Morwood today. When he first came he was one of my whipping boys, I soo changed my mind.

I loved Shane Morwood. If we have a Mk2 version in the VFL, let's promote him to replace an injured (apparently hamstring) Howe next week. If Chugg was considered worthy of a game despite no obvious need for his inclusion, surely McMahon is far more worthy of a shot at the big time?!
