The umpiring was disgraceful in the last but WC didn't lose because of it, we lost because we were poor in front of goal and didn't capitalise on our I50's.


But the umpires did ruin a ****ing awesome close contest with their need to stamp themselves on the game.

You can't always blame the umpires people. West Coast were probably the better team and should've won. But one 50m penalty wasn't the only reason why they lost.

And they still won the free kick count 19-13. I wish free kick counts were in Freo's favour like that each week.

It was a good game of football. Goes without saying I'm obviously heartbroken, we had a great chance to beat Collingwood at the MCG for the first time in 20 years. Really wish we had capitalised on our dominant 2nd quarter, it could've been a different story.

NO They didn't. Check the inside 50's. Collingwood's midfield who were back to their usual front running bludging best bludged their way through 3 qtrs. and just overwhelmed Priddis in the last qtr who was pretty much a one man band. Don't fool yourself Eagles lost it Collingwood never won it. Eagles capatilise on their domination and don't stuff up scoring opportunities time and time again they win comfortably.

Could have been game of the year so far, heck even if we lost fairly, but that was plain, flat, good old cheating from the umps.

If umpiring corruption is uncovered in the future like it has been in the NBA I won't be surprised.

As per usual you got an extraordinary good run from the maggots. I suppose you do have a point though. You're used to getting 2 free kicks to every 1 for the opposition. Today it was a ratio of 1 and a half to 1.
