Respect is a two way street. If the club wants to spin shit to its members then there will be little respect back the other way.
Yes. Respect is a 2 way street. One of your very infrequent good points.

Good proposition -one that it diminishes your standpoint even more!... That is, how does your behaviour promote and create respect when you're abusive and unwelcoming? You're being deliberately disrespectful, which is even worse. The club has admitted they'd have liked to have done things better and apologised to fans. I respect that.

It's the ill-advised rantings of muppets like you that give BF the rightful bad name and disrespect it deserves from the club.

Ha, your name calling makes your entire post a crock of Scott.

And further to above you respect the fact the club has come out and said they should have kept the whole thing a secret from its members until the end of the season. How much more disrespectful could the club be to its members?

I'm sorry if people at the club are offended because members are calling out their bullshit but there should be other heads rolling instead of Boomers.

Its because we're all sycophants and wet our pants when anyone half official gives us bigfooty plebs the time of day. :D

Did you like my post when he turned up....'I I I I ....nothing'

Shat myself.

Aaand we go to word salad.

If boomer played next year he would be in our best 22 each week. A serious coach does not leave out best 22 players from the team, it instills a culture of not being serious about winning.

A serious coach doesn't leave out best 22 players but will sack them? That's black and white. Resting old players from interstate trips is hardley unprecedented.

The idea that a coach should think with their balls when it comes to selection is strange.

Fray and Nahas were played for depth in a tilt at the flag this year. Had we not had as many injuries as we did they may have made a difference (in a way a first year cannot).
Yeah, I like a safe coach that takes no risks! It's debatable if Fray and Nahas gave us more than what a first year would.
It is possible that Clarke, Hibbard and Wagner could learn more training and playing with Boomer, but to what extent is up for debate.
Ask LT!!!

Wells is being offered 2 years as it is irresponsible for a club to ditch all experience at once. Melbourne tried that approach and it left them on the bottom of the ladder for a good 10 years.

Yes, the young guys played together in the VFL. Now that some of them are in the best 22 it makes sense that they will get more experience playing together if they all fit into the same team.
There's actually plenty of experience with out Wells.

I find your thinking to be very black and white, a little like how kids are before they realize the world is full of complexity. Maybe I misread you.
See I find the clubs call of getting rids of all four to set us up for long term success as black and white. It's like the club made one decision and blanketed all four with that one decision instead of looking at each one individually. Anyway you look at it, the club would have been better off giving Boomer another year.

Mate, keyboard warriors like you and I can go the hack all day. It's a f***in internet forum!

I'm referring to 'guests' of the club who come on to engage. I, like many others appreciate hearing from them and want to hear more from them. Definitely a lot more than we like hearing from you. When they do come on it's rare and insightful. As opposed to your meandering, ill-informed drivel. I'm not saying don't post - just be civil and pay a little bit of respect to guests. It's not that hard is it or too much to ask?

And for the record, I've never respected your posting - there's no 2 way's about that! However, I do love and respect North Melbourne FC. Always have and always will... NTTAWWT.

Guest of the club?? He's Media and Communications for the club. It's his job to come on here, it's just another media channel to reach the members and supporters and as a member I'm entitled to express my view when it's clear the club is spinning shit.

I'm sure you can imagine, this isn't the only channel I've expressed my view, and from all accounts I'm not alone there.

Personally I couldn't care less if I have the respect of someone that blindly follows the club. I too love the club, but after this year I've certainly lost some respect for individuals running the club. Each to their own.

Any way it was done woudn't have pleased u Kangatime because u believe Boomer should have played on. Some of us understand and agree with the decision.
At the end of the day we were told before the last round and ur not happy with that and that's fine. Yet if the club held it in house till after the finals like alot of clubs u complain that would show no respect to its members.
Did u want Bard to call u personally in round 16 and let u know?

I don't have a problem with the announcement at all. But yes the decision should have been made prior to when it was as Brad has always told us it was done in Rnd 18. Once the decision was made it had be made public and I think it was right to come out about it.

Whats the reason Brad and the Club think the announcement should have been left till after the season? Because it affected our preparation for the final...That's a no according to Scott, everything was fine.
Or is the club saying they should have held back announcing it to the players...again No according to Scott. He had always promised Boomer he would tell him straight away once the decision was made.
Or is the club saying they should have held off making the decision till the end of the season. That's just plain wrong and utterly disrespectful to a legend of our club. Not to be given the chance to walk off knowing it was your last game after 400 plus games.

So was just because the club didn't want the back lash from the members? Seriously? The clubs reasoning behind delaying the announcement was because they didn't want to get told off for making such a stupid decision!

It's just amateur hour which ever way you turn.
