While it was classless for Culbert to tweet that, it is what is.

This will be the talk tonight, then finals tonight and tomorrow will overshadow this story. Brownlow medal on Sunday leading into Grand Final week.

Hopefully that space will let the story cool and let Rhyce continue in peace.

Friday at 5pm is literally the start of prime time in the AFL.

It really makes Caro and Purple look so pathetic to stick their boots in while we’re down
Fully agree, but as if those two low life’s are held accountable for any sort of damage. Caro is a campaigner, pure and simple, Dildo should be banned from our footy club for a very very long time, if not for ever. Disgrace of a human to have the gall to call himself a North supporter. you ain’t no supporter Dildo, you are a parasite mate, who’s days are numbered in ya role. Will disappear from the media within the next couple of years.

Obviously a lot to play out, but I wouldn’t write off voss just yet.

Made a lot of mistakes at the Lions, no doubt. But he has been instrumental in Ports rise and has clearly learnt from those mistakes. Is extremely highly rated amongst coaches.

Ratten has shown that coaches do deserve second chances. Whether it’s at North, or another club, he absolutely deserves another chance.
I don’t mind Voss as a possibility.

He forgets the amount money the government as pumped into Geelong and their shithouse sponsor that took tax payer money and then left the country.
If you’re gonna go that far, didn’t Ford have a few other historical concerns as well?

Upon reflection and having spoken to a couple of North mates whom I great respect I've changed my mind on this one.

I actually think Voss would be an excellent acquisition for the club and probably exactly what we need right now. Voss is not Voss from ten years ago, fresh out of the game and pretty much straight into the senior coaching position. It's been 7 years since he was removed at Brisbane, as it's been noted he's been instrumental in Port's current success and last but not least he's a strong, hard bastard.

In saying that it's more than likely just more of the same with media rumour and innuendo. Let's just let the process play out. It's not like any of us can do anything about it. We'll trust the club to not **** things up.

Again though. Rhyce is still our coach at this point in time. Just feel like I should say that. We'll have what's best for Rhyce and what's best for the club.

I was listening to this and almost drove off the road. They spent 3 minutes on Rhyce and then the next 15 minutes talking about the 'long term viability of the club'. Could have been long but I turned the radio off. What the ****? They've been sitting on this to justify their agenda against the club for weeks. I think they even gave themselves just enough time to pat themselves on the back regarding how wonderful they were for keeping the news under wraps. I almost vomited in my mouth.

They went straight into what a basket case our club was led by Gerard and Kane. Rhyce was long forgotten. The lack of empathy for Rhyce or the circumstances being faced by both our club and the majority of other clubs right now was extraordinary.

I'd be ok with Voss.

TBH what he did with Brisbane was quite good at that time. Scraped into the finals by memory and they had a very ordinary list. (which is evident considering the bottomed out for a long time). From what I heard since then he had learned a lot since and has big wraps.

Ideally I wanted a coach who has coached AFL before, but I'd be happy if they're considering Blakey. I really want a North man tbh. Not sure on that possibility.

Voss was already becoming a decent coach in 2013 when he got sacked. His problem was that he set himself so far back with his inexperience and Crazy Vossy antics in 2009, the Board was all out of patience just when it was starting to click.

If only he’d waited and done an apprenticeship...
