Could have been long but I turned the radio off. What the ****? They've been sitting on this to justify their agenda against the club for weeks. They went straight into what a basket case our club was led by Gerard and Kane. Rhyce was long forgotten. The lack of empathy for Rhyce or the circumstances being faced by both our club and the majority of other clubs right now was extraordinary.

Well said. This smug, self righteous AFL HQ sycophant is a world away from what he was when he started out.

I've developed a reasonably thick skin when it comes to criticism of North, but this one really pissed me off.

Now I hope Brisbane belt Geelong tomorrow night just because I want the little c0ckhead to feel some pain.

I can take the shit slung our way but I have been blown away by the absolute pile on that our club has had to endure since season's end.

One thing I do have have is a long memory and when we rise I won't forget those who haven't hesitated to sink the boots in.

These aren’t quotes from Buckley.
They’re from that w***er Paul Brasher defending his club. Spoken the same Buckley’s letter came out.

Compare it. A weak response from our club. An end of year financial statement. I literally learned nothing new except point 7.

We’ll always be stood on until we stand up for ourselves and be direct!

Try this next time mate:

“We won’t be relocating. We are an anchor...”

“We have been here for over 150 years and will be here for another 150”

“We won’t be playing more than 4 games in TAS”

“A pile on by the media kicking us while we’re down”

It's possibly the toxic culture of Croc Media, when are they going to be upfront and open their financial ledger? are they taking cash for comments? how secure is their future as a company. They sacked the Ox and Marko without notice or financial payout and needed to be sued. Come on Jabba be upfront, what have you got on Caro, Gerrard and the rest of your employee's, are they frightened they'll be unemployable if you let them go.

I'm my opinion, there's no best time to release such news, I believe the announcement was released as soon as the Shaw family approved clearance to the media, it is what it is. (no pun intended)

Culbert like the rest of the media should be respecting the wishes of the Shaw family, he had no good reason to publicly comment on such a matter but asking Culbert to mind his own business is like asking a cat not to chase a mouse.

They are actually an ASX listed company called Pacific Star or something ? Last time I looked they had a pile of debt, multiple cap raises and share price that’s gone nowhere in 5yr.

Hutch still does well and draws a big salary out of it though.

I hope we use this to galvanise the club. Use all this negativity in the media to pull the whole club together. It's time to get past greats back at the club so the next generation understand what North Melbourne stands for.

Then shove it up the arse of the media Muppets.
