I rekn I heard 7 times today on various media outlets that North should have taken Logan. Can’t wait for Will to prove them wrong.

The funniest part of this is that if Logan played for us on Sunday he would have had minimal impact, whilst Phillips probably gets 25 and 2 goals for Sydney and they’re slamming us for not taking a mid. Literally cannot win.

These kind of comparisons are always made when a club passes an obvious pick.

I like McDonald, wish him the best. I think he will be a good player but he is not a large KPP or a contested marking machine. KPP early in a draft is very risky, there is a collective amnesia about how many top 5 KPFs have crashed and burned. It is fine for a club that gets A grade midfield talent gifted via a bullshit academy, if he bombs out then they are just going to end up with more first round gifts by the AFL. We can't afford to have one of our few top end picks bomb out, specially if we plan to not be down here for very long.
