Close and the Panel gave it back to Barrett again for being such a sooky la la

What you missed was Cornes putting it out there that Ken Hinkley is a great fit for North.

Isn't that Muppet crook on North for not throwing the kitchen sink at Clarko and screaming to the world that we've done it? Now a coach contracted at another club is the perfect fit?

If he is such a great coach, why is Cornes actively campaigning for him to go to another club?

So if I am reading between the lines, Kane wants North Melbourne to take Hinkley off Ports hands so they can chase Clarkson?

The guy is a transparent as gladwrap, even though he tries to hide it.

An article worth reading, raises some good points on development and rule changes impacting our rebuild.

I see the mistake this writer has made, he clearly has actually watched North regularly and has the ability to write in a fair and reasoned manner, no future for him in the AFL media!

That actually was quite good. The fact that we are rebuilding under conditions never experienced before is obvious to anyone paying attention or analysing the matter, but it seems to escape the vast majority of the media…

I think the other point worth noting on Covid, in context of the criticism directed at us by the media, is that if not for the Covid list cuts then a couple of those star players like Dumont, Wood, Atley, etc that we cut would probably still be on the list.

Exactly, I haven't heard anyone ever qualify their retrospective criticism of our list management during the rebuild by at least acknowledging that we have been very unlucky to be doing it at the same time as list sizes were reduced.

Also never heard anyone say who we should have either delisted or not drafted instead. Very easy for the media 'experts' to say we should have kept one or all of those players, but the flip side is of course each player kept takes up a list spot.

Puts into perspective how valuable the extra rookie spots handed to GC as part of their assistance package are.

Honestly if anyone on social media is deserving of people sending thousands of dick picks (on their burner accounts) it’s the 5 minute fireman.

The same pos who apparently spat the dummy and left a B&F presentation early because he didn’t win. (can’t find this online though so might not be true)

The same pos who received feedback from his teammates (via that leading teams rubbish) to stop being a cheap stat merchant.

The same pos who is scared to criticise his own club (but hard on the coaches at all other underperforming ones) because his brother is on the payroll.

**** off Kane you 60kg pos.

Did he really leave a BnF early because he didn’t win it?

Hadn't heard the Kane B&F but have posted before of "The Chad" once landing a lucrative speaking gig only to bore the audience with his 3rd person anecdotes about "The Chad" before calling it a day and working the crowd trying to pick up.

Obviously I'm arguing in the pro for the Cornes Brothers with that account.

Lol!

Please make this sort of stuff true:

“It was against GWS the day he got sacked and Kane had a shocker, in the first half he kicked the ball to the opposition six times, and I said (to Primus) ‘why did you give him best player that day?’ and he said ‘I didn’t’, and I said ‘well you did because he got votes that day’.

I find it funny Mason Cox is carrying on about how the Collingwood ducker didn't get a free trying to discuss the rules.
This bloke literally doesn't know the rules, When he plays he is headless out there, it's a comedy.
Learn the rules you lanky bastard.

that one in the media today is 100% a free kick tho

It's one free kick, even if it was, there are plenty that get missed, the way he carries on is as if he is enlightening people.
He should work on not being the worst player in the game.

Reminds me of when I dislocated my shoulder and was unable to play for the rest of the season. I became an "assistant" coach and one role I had was to do the 3-2-1 for B&F. I reckon I would have done over half the season's games. We had a guy in the team who went on to become the Australian Olympic hockey team goalie, but he was pretty good at footy and damn, I gave him quite a few "3 vote" games.

I was completely silent on my voting as well - I sealed the envelope, signed it and handed it over as instructed.

I was pretty shocked with the B&F result that season.

It reminded me of the footy club meat raffle at the Broadbeach hotel. The footy club would sell tickets to all of the holiday makers and tourists then draw the prize. It amazingly always went to one of the locals. The probability of a tourist winning the prize was less than the odds of Tattslotto Division one.

It was a free kick every day - disgusting decision and the ump should be dropped. AFL agrees now which is rare.
