Clarkson said on AFL360 back in May that it was important to keep experienced players like Goldstein. Can't imagine this has changed.

He might be a lumbering ruckman but Goldie has some fine motor skills and he's put them on show over the last few weeks to great effect.

It would be cool if more of the team could thread a handball to the advantage of a running player who is clear and goal side.

It's a shame there isn't a softcap on condescending grumpy old men in the media. I reckon he's still smarting from getting shown up by our Prez on Saturday when she was on their show.

It was one of the main talking points around Clarko when he was up for the various available coaching gigs, he wasn't ever going to take so much, that the club wouldn't be able to put the necessary team around him. Also, very insulting and condescending to Sonja and her team to suggest the process was just a simple, desperate, sign Clarko at any cost and that the impact on the softcap wasn't factored in and therefore may come as an unplanned shock afterwards.

I'm sure old Leigh is wondering how Hawthorne managed the situation where they paid Clarkson almost a million to not be a coach in 2022.
