Watching a bit of the press conference from St kilda, missus walks in takes one look at Simon Lethlean and goes that guy looks like a massive scumbag. Lmao
My Mrs was watching it on her phone - I walked in and took look at Simon Lethlean and thought that guy looks like a massive scumbag, which is what my Mrs thought as well. She was only interested as her sister barracks for the St Kildas.

Honestly, I thought it was a boring, pointless 0-0 draw between two boring old self-loving farts.

Fair enough. I thought Kingy made him look like the full of shit goose he is. But each to their own.
I really would love to hear the actual Judas stories. Sounds like an absolute shit human.

Kingy - "You've been the number one campaigner."

Loving your work Kingy.

“He moved on quite quickly. To a 6 year deal!”

Love Kingys clip at the end at how Port postured the rat.

Lot of st kilda supporters and ex players in the media.

It's astonishing the critique as a club we get compared to them.

Sure who cares and yes best to laugh it off, I guess ex-AFL players aren't in the media for their intelligence after all.

AFL news 2022: Concussions on the rise as calls come to ban contact training

www.heraldsun.com.au

The AFL has been urged to consider limits to contact drills in pre-season training after 121 separate concussions were diagnosed by AFL listed players across the 2022 preseason and season proper.

AFL concussion campaigner Peter Jess said on Sunday his running tally of concussions across the season had recorded a worrying jump from 103 concussions officially diagnosed by AFL club doctors to 121 in 2022.

Jess said the medical protocols for recording concussions were identical across both seasons — with a 12-day concussion protocol — so the numbers were clear cause for alarm rather than because of greater caution in reporting by club doctors.

He will meet with the AFL in coming weeks as he pushes for every trainer and coach in the AFL to go through a concussion awareness program so they can detect signs of concussions.

Ten AFL players had multiple concussions this year — Jed Bews, Sam Menegola, Jake Kolodjashnij, Shannon Neale, Lachlan Murphy, Will Hamill, Jack Higgins, Max Lynch, Ben McKay and Taj Woewodin.

Western Bulldogs player Anthony Scott had three separate concussions, with Jess worried about the lack of extra medical monitoring in some of those cases after multiple concussions.

He said the 120 concussions were a worrying number that were more proof of damage caused to players.

It came as former Hawthorn champion John Platten told The Soda Room podcast the 30 concussions he had endured during his career had caused 43 per cent damage to his brain.

Platen is one of multiple players involved in a concussion class action as the AFL prepares to release the findings of an official investigation into league concussion expert Paul McCrory’s conduct amid plagiarism allegations.

Jess said the league had to consider ways to lessen concussive and sub-concussive hits, and the pre-season was one clear area of concern.

“That is an increase of 18 per cent and it leads us to look at how the game is being played. “The fundamental question is do we accept we want a dangerous game that accepts 120 brain traumas a year? The last three years we have seen a steady increase from 96 to 102 to 121.

“The doctors have the same diagnostic techniques so there are more concussions.
“We have to eliminate full-tackle training drills because we know repeated collisions cause issues. It’s not just repeated head knocks, it is repeated collisions. You don’t need to get hit in the head to have brain damage, it’s the transfer of energy. When you have a stop-start motion your brain keeps moving forward.

“We need a clear target for the number of concussions and then we need to find ways to reduce it. Rather than only focusing on treatment, we need to focus on prevention and mitigation and we aren’t doing enough”.

The AFL is set to reassess its own rules on high bumps after the Patrick Cripps precedent saw him turning his body to collide with Brisbane’s Cal Ah Chee but escape suspension at the AFL’s appeals board.

AFL football boss Andrew Dillon said in releasing last year’s injury figures that the league was open to continued assessment of its concussion protocols to ensure the safest possible game.

“Our aim is to continue to provide players with the safest possible environment in a contact sport and this data allows us to support ongoing research into injury prevention and management,” Dillon said.

“The AFL and AFLW Concussion Guidelines are the most stringent concussion protocols in Australian sport, and we are committed to continuing to listen and learn and take action – both at the elite and community level – when dealing with concussion.”

NFL has moved to half pads or no pads in some circumstances to avoid concussions but are still very physical.
Going to be hard to try and implement something similar at afl level when part of the game is tackling/breaking tackles and contact when going to marks and interceptions etc.

Have we simply gotten better at identifying potential concussions and taking remedial action therefore pushing the numbers up but conversely reducing the longer term impact of concussions?

Jesus, if you can’t work out the true story when Judas denies the ice bath three times, then heaven help you.
During the meal of the Last Supper Jesus aka al Clarko predicts that "one of you will betray me" referring to Judas aka JHFF. Judas leaves the supper and goes to the Poort authorities who are looking to arrest Jesus aka al Clarko. He accepts a bribe of 30 silver pieces and agrees to go to Poort. Koch knew that Jesus and the disciples would go to Arden St in Nth Melbourne and led the Poort w***ers there, stating "Whoever it is I kiss, he is the one; take him into custody, and lead him away under guard.” Leading the Poort tossers into the garden, Judas sees Jesus with his disciples and approaches him. “Greetings, !” Judas says, and he tries to kiss Jesus very lightly. “Fellow, WTF?” Jesus responds. (Matthew 26:49, 50) Answering his own question, Jesus says: “Judas, are you betraying the Nth Melbourne with a kiss?”

As the Poort tossers move toward Jesus, the apostles recognize what is happening. “Jesus, al Clarko, should we strike with the Koch punch?, like you did to Ian Aiken” they ask. (Luke 22:49) Before Jesus can respond, Peter uses a left, right combo and attacks the Poort tossers, a servant of the high priest ( Koch), splitting his right ear.

Jesus caresses the ear of Malchus, healing the wound. He then teaches an important lesson, telling Peter: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.” Jesus is willing to be captured, for he explains: “How would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must take place this way?” (Matthew 26:52) This then leads to the trial and Crucifixion of Christ aka al Clarko

Moral of the story, **** Poort!

Unfortunately for North the only way we change the media narrative is to win Premierships and not just one because you know they'll find a way to say that it was a one-off fluke. Not matter how many members we have or how much profit we make we need a sustained period of success 2 - 3 Premierships across 5 or 6 years to shut them up. If anyone can do this it's Clarko.

Should have saved this for the Good Friday match.

Of course you could resurrect it then 🤔

Yes, good idea, it was quick so didn't invest much time changing the odd word. I should have found time to add the Corn. He could have looked at the North disciples and stated wow, not one of them is a recruiter.
